What a beautiful Cafe! The views are amazing, the interior of the cafe is gorgeous, and the most important thing, the staff are excellent and so kind! I was in Yufuin as I was traveling through, and I needed a cafe to work at for a few hours each day, which meant that I had to plug in my laptop and a million other devices in a quiet, casual cafe. Not all places let you do that, let alone do you feel comfortable doing that, but at Yufuin Senke I felt so comfortable and looked after every day I was there! They never had any issues at all with my heading up to the top floor to work, and I always had amazing coffee made and brought up to me. The seats were comfortable, and the views were amazing. When I told them it was my last day and I had to move to a new town, they gave me some little treats as gifts and I just wanted to give them all a big hug! They were so, so kind, and I recommend anyone to check out Yufuin Senke in the beautiful town of Yufuin. It is foreigner friendly, and you're able to plug your laptop or devices in while ordering a coffee and relax while you work or study! I also highly recommend getting a photo on your latte! For only ¥100 extra, you get a picture perfect photo on your coffee! How cool is that! Thank you so Kindly, Yufuin Senke, I am very grateful to have stumbled across...
Read moreWe walked from Kinrin Lake to Unagihime Jinja, and on the way back to the town proper we managed to pass by Yufuin Senke. And it wasn’t planned. We decided to eat there since it was already 1pm and we were starving. I am happy we did. The chicken doria was soooo creamy, it’s like if the Japanese had their way with a risoto. The Toriten was yummy and crunchy! The cute matcha latter was umami filled and pleasant. And the lemon cotton candy soda was thirst quenching. I also bought 3 bottles of Kabosco the super tart spicy sauce went well on so many things.
The view was beautiful, and we felt like we were just isolated from the rest of the town. The staff were very kind, and just wow. It was a great find. Oh and very good music choice playing in...
Read moreCafé with an amazing view of the field nearby. Highly recommend to take the seats upstairs to have a more panoramic view. The place is popular with visitors and it gets crowded and a bit noisy after 11am, so I would suggest visiting the place early for a better vibe. English menu available, with toilet and self service counter for tissues and water. Ordered banana and chocolate pancakes and it was really nice. The icecream served in a separate cold bowl so it wouldn’t be melted away. The pancakes were eggy and spongy, soft like a cloud melting...
