Honestly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I walked into this restaurant expecting to enjoy some good Bengali food and respectful service, but what I encountered was shocking.

First: the service was absolutely terrible. When we ordered bread, I was shocked to discover that a single piece costs £10! That is completely unreasonable and extremely overpriced. When I asked the staff when the bread would arrive, instead of answering politely, he looked at me aggressively as if my question annoyed him, and told me to wait and not ask again. The same rude attitude happened when I asked about yogurt – his tone was disrespectful and offensive.

Second: the behavior of the restaurant owner was completely unacceptable. Instead of welcoming customers and treating them with respect, he was rude and arrogant, as if we had no right to ask for anything. No smile, no respect, and no effort at all to make customers feel comfortable.

We were four people, and all of us left the restaurant feeling extremely regretful for ever stepping inside. What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience turned into a stressful and disappointing one.

Honestly, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The prices are outrageous, the service is awful, and the owner has no idea how to deal with customers. If you are looking for a place that respects you and values your money, this is definitely not it.

Disaster meal. Called to make booking and informed member of staff about an allergy and just told to tell the waiting staff when they take the order later . Informed waiter of said allergy on arrival and was told I couldnt eat practically anything on the menu but was offered one dish . This arrived without the main ingredient but was not informed of this . On asking staff was then told I couldn’t even have the substitute ingredient so basically I had been given carrots and peas in a korma sauce and charged 19.00 . Another waiter came to clear our plates and managed to elbow me in the nose - he was very apologetic but still not what I expected!! About 5 mins later the same waiter came to tell us that our table was booked at 8pm (it was 7.50pm) and they were here early so could we leave !!! Unbelievable ! Will not be returning again...
