I have visited here on several occasions for lovely, reasonably priced Ethiopian food. I decided to come with my friend today to show him the Ethiopian food. The waiter said that the Ethiopian ladies that worked there had gone but that they could do some Ethiopian food. I said I wasn't sure but the waiter said it was tasty.
What arrived was not Ethiopian food at all. It was grilled steak, some chilli/red pepper puree and some tortilla rolls. There was no injera bread. We ate the food, it was average. Then were charged 12.75 JD EACH for some bits of chewy steak. Please see pictures. When questioned, the waiter said that 'it was Ethiopian food but we can't make injera bread because only an Ethiopian knows how to make it'. What an absolute scam. I've lived in Jordan 8 months and never been so disgusted.

I misunderstood the meny that you can only order one ingredient on the manoshe, rather how it was written with 3 ingredients. When I asked if it was possible to add something on it because it was dry it was declined. Then later when I payed, the waiter's asked if it was good, then I said again that it wasn't. But that didn't bother him at all. Probably mostly language barriers, but still little effort to try to get guest to leave with...
