This charming restaurant features a beautiful garden and a rustic vibe, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The food was incredible; we enjoyed hummus, moutabal, chicken wings, zaatar chicken, tomato salad, and spicy halloumi. Everything was excellent, but my favorite was the spicy halloumi. Our waitress, Maria, forgot to bring our water but offered it on the house when reminded. Maria was very attentive and sweet, and we really appreciated her service. We were also given a complimentary dessert, a berry cheesecake, which was delicious with homegrown berries. After dinner, we headed downstairs to the bar, which has a cool interior and a very cozy ambiance. I wish they had more variety in cocktails, though. We ordered a basil Orta and a whiskey sour; both were good. A small comment: avoid ordering via the app, as the orders don't seem to go through. It's best to order directly with the waiter. There is also a small shop at the entrance selling locally made kitchen accessories, art, handicrafts, candles, and more. Overall, it was a great experience, and this place is perfect for a nice get-together with friends and family.

This is probably my new favorite breakfast spot in Amman. Let’s begin with the incredible views of Amman and the Citadel. Furthermore, the winter farmer’s market was going on, so it was a beautiful thing to see while waiting for our table. The citrus collection is amazing, and also tastes amazing. The head chef Qais was more than generous in sampling multiple fruits and making sure I tried them. Now let’s discuss food. The hummus and mutabbal were delicious. The mutabbal though is so yummy, tastes fresh, and is rich with flavor. The cauliflower fritters are probably my favorite. You should definitely order those. The mana’eesh were very good, make sure you mix the cheese with zaatar, and get the cheese with olives one. We also tried the beets falafel, and the texture was surprisingly way better than I expected. We loved it. The service is top notch. The servers were very attentive. The ambiance and vibe is amazing in this place. The seats, tables, and flooring all encourage nostalgic thoughts that make you enjoy this place even more. I will definitely be back.

Quite possibly the best meal we had in Jordan! From the moment you approach the place, you feel like you’re stepping into a separate universe - lovelier, greener, yummier. The house the restaurant is housed in is beautiful and boasts gorgeous views of Amman; they also have a store selling Jordanian goods (the jasmine candles are addictive). The olive branches decorating the tables were a charming touch. Now to the food itself - everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and provided a twist on a classic; special highlights go to the cauliflower fritters (suggestion to the restaurant - please serve in even numbers to prevent fights over the last one), zaatar salad, and homemade manakeesh with zaatar and cheese. In addition to the food, the service was friendly, helpful, and took obvious pride in the place and their work - as they should. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The best place in town to have breakfast/ dinner. The staff is extremely friendly and all their recommendations on menu items were on point. The concept of this place is great “ traditional with a modern twist” They have all your all time favorite middle eastern dishes with modification. Everything is freshly made and tastes exquisite. They recently added alcoholic beverages to their drinks menu for those who would like to enjoy a pint of beer or a glass of wine with dinner. If you are visiting Amman I highly recommend dropping by this place. Depending on the time of your visit the waiting time might vary from 15 to 20 min. They have a nice shop and you can have a walk around the place and take some great picture while you wait. Their local shop has some freshly made zatar, labne etc. You can also rent the venue for an event.

I loved this place in Amman city centre! You will have to go up the hill to reach it from the main road of the old city but it's totally worth it. The place is very silent, colorful and full of plants and flowers. Some portuguese music was playing when I visited and made a relaxing atmosphere. The waiters were really nice, helped us ordering and gave us suggestions. I found this place to be perfect for expats and visitors. The food was good, we had some falafel, fried cauliflower, fried and scrambled eggs, bread, tea with sage and mint, typical bread with a mix of spices on top, and some coffee. Everything was tasty and we enjoyed our time there. Prices were a bit expensive honestly if compared to many other places we've been to. In general I do recommend it, it was a cool experience to visit this place. Enjoy it :)

The waiters are very innocent and polite. However, despite making a reservation they made us wait 30 mins to be seated. Prices are ridiculously expensive. Food is alright. For me making uncessary additions/modifications to authentic dishes is not my thing. The ambience is nice but it was very hot . It was not enjoyable on a summer day lunch. We just wanted to leave as soon as we finished our food. I think the only reason this restaurant is popular among expats is that it offers alcohol. I would rate this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if the price was fair but considering the high price tag and the time we had to wait to get seated I am only giving ⭐️⭐️. I also did not like that when we left our clothes was covered with starch from the bread that we paid for.
