Ресторан СВЕТ — Restaurant in Almaty

Lovely interior and attentive reception are always a good start to any dining. Despite the basement location, it is nice and cozy inside. The menu is pretty diverse, with excellent examples of contemporary cuisine. However, the fruit and berry teas section alone had three grammatical errors. That's not good. Food left a pleasant impression. Interestingly, most of the tuna tartare came sliced and not cubed and sesame crusted, which would be appropriate for a good Salad Nicoise. Odd, but still tasty. Aged ribeye on a bone was quite interesting as you get part of steak closer to the bone and more rare, while the opposite side has more of a good sear. Thus, you get the best of both worlds. I liked it. I found that halloumi cheese in halloumi beetroot salad was not the most common type that is a bit salty from the brine, but blander. I'd say closer to grilled firm tofu. As someone who generally enjoys kurt, I had to try kurt ice cream. Well, it is peculiar, to say the least. I would say it is more of a novelty, and I'm glad that it is moderately priced so that more people can tryit without big regrets. But one time is more than enough. Our waiter did a fantastic job – lots of attention, great advice, and knowledge of the menu. However, there was a lady, my guess, an administrator, who appeared from time to time and awkwardly stood by our table clearly not knowing what to do and tried to take away my plate while I still had food on a fork. That was very uncomfortable for everyone involved. It wasn't the smoothest ride, and many things need improvement, but that's more because of the status this restaurant is trying to establish, meaning everything has to be perfect. Simmering down to food alone, it definitely deserves attention....

Самый ужасный ресторан, который я посещал за свои 15 лет в Алматы. Советую не дважды, не даже трижды, а 1000 раз подумать прежде чем посещать данное заведение. Сейчас расскажу почему.

Я приезжаю в Алматы из-за границы достаточно редко и перед своим отъездом отсюда я хотел приятно провести последний вечер с любимыми мне людьми. Благодаря пренебрежительному отношению персонала (особенно администратора) к своим гостям, вечер был полностью испорчен.

Соотношение качества/обслуживания к цене стремится к нулю. Почитайте отзывы пониже. Я на 100% соглашусь со всей критикой в адрес ресторана.

Если вам нравится, что против вас используют маркетинговый ход с оплатой бутылки воды за 2300тг, то вам обязательно сюда! Во всех добротных заведениях, как например соседняя Афиша, воду подают бесплатно. Бесплатная вода повышает уровень лояльности гостя и является показателем хорошего ресторана. Пожалуйста, поучитесь у соседних заведений. Не говорите, что это общая практика.

Если вам нравится чувствовать себя неуслышанными, то вам сюда. В общем, мы попросили официанта попросить людей с соседнего столика не курить Iqos, ибо запах очень сильно бил по носу моей бабушки (учитывая насколько тесно на террасе, этого не было избежать). Но наши просьбы не были восприняты всерьёз. После многочисленных просьб, официант сказал, что ОКАЗЫВАЕТСЯ НА ТЕРРАСЕ КУРИТЬ МОЖНО, а знак на стене, доказывающий обратное, недействительный и его надо убрать. Как было сказано, в других комментариях, официанты очень слабые и даже сами ничего не знают, так как администратор, подошедший позже, сказал, что все таки курить на террасе нельзя, но электронные сигареты — исключение.

Советую администрации ознакомиться с Кодексом РК «О здоровье народа и системе здравоохранения», который был принят 7 июля 2020 года, к табачным изделиям помимо сигарет относятся и электронные сигареты. Я ничего против электронных сигарет не имею, но я верю, что в определенных заведениях они просто не уместны. Вся ситуация лишь показала некомпетентность всего персонала.

Если вы думаете заглянуть в Свет, то сэкономьте себе время и нервы и пойдите в замечательную Афишу или Del Papa.

Советую хозяину и администрации, почаще ходить в соседние заведения, чтобы понять почему все больше и больше людей к вам больше ни...

The citrus tea is a must to try, Nothing really special on the food. I tried the burrata with tomatoes salad which is good as you can really feel and taste the freshness of the tomatoes. A friend ordered a pasta and then in the middle of the dine we are asked to moved to other table due to a reservation. The pasta wasn't even done but the waiter just took it without asking if we are done or not. I ordered a chocolate fondant with vanilla IC for dessert. It's tasteless! Icecream isn't set and no taste at all, chocolate fondant is even bad, its dry and again tasteless. The restaurant looks good and location...
