Inca Restaurant — Restaurant in Kilimani division

I ordered food from here and the music was extremely loud so my guest left abruptly because it was highly disturbing . I asked the waiter for the bill. Then I realized My guest had my wallet in her bag as I was carrying a small purse that my wallet couldn’t fit in so I told the waiter that I needed to go get it from the ground floor and I will be back to pay. And he wrote something down on a piece of paper. I was not to pleased because it was definitely an embarrassing unfortunate situation. However I kept cool and I got my wallet and as I was about to go upstairs in the elevator to pay I was told to leave the building and escorted out. I immediately complied only to be harassed at the exit of the building for payment when I was trying to leave with a security guard waving his gun at me and threatening me and two other staff (one claiming to be a manager). I told them I will not be paying for a meal I was not allowed to finish and they said to go to the police station and I said it was fine with me. However instead of going to the police station they decided to block my Uber driver from leaving basically kidnapping me into paying for a meal I was denied. Very disgusting behavior .

We went to Inca for dinner, and, indeed, the food was exquisite. We had the Classic Ceviche and the Tuna Incatataki as starters and they were sublime. As main course we had the Aged Picanha Steak and the Aged Fillet de Res, rare, naturally, and they were both cooked to perfection. Likewise, the chips, and I'm Belgian, were among the best I have tasted in Nairobi, accompanied with a lovely mayonnaise: impressive. Unfortunately, the setting of the place is that of a night club, with horrible music for a restaurent at an even more horrible volume.
