Our visit to Casamia in Diani Beach was highlighted by its vibrant live music and the welcoming ambiance that greeted us upon entry. The staff's exceptional friendliness and efficiency significantly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel thoroughly at home in the restaurant's chill and inviting setting. The culinary journey at Casamia was delightful, starting from the appetizing bread and starters to the main courses that were both innovative and satisfying. The red snapper and lamb I enjoyed were standout dishes, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. My colleagues appreciated the restaurant's flexibility in offering tasty vegetarian options beyond the menu, showcasing their willingness to accommodate all guests. The thoughtful layout, including a comfortable chill area for waiting guests, added to the restaurant's charm and functionality. Overall, Casamia successfully combines superb food, stellar service, and a cozy atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot in Diani Beach for an unforgettable meal.

We knew about Casamia from a friend and the pics we were sent didn’t do justice. The decor, the finish and the set up is just stunning. For a restaurant in the Coast of Kenya and as a citizen who’s born and raised in Mombasa I was truly impressed. But that’s not where it ended, Chef Maurizio gave us recommendations for his home made tortellini and lobster linguine which was divine. Tuna tartare is locally sourced and fresh as they come. Nice little variety on the wine selection from their stunning display of their wine cellar under ground. Our night was capped off by the ever friendly manager, Duncan, who offered us a free aperitif to see our meal off. I would highly recommend this place to visitors in Diani. You certainly won’t be disappointed!

The service was poor, and the server had an attitude. We got our orders wrong, took him ages to bring the children soft drinks when approached about it...he became upset. He would walk away in the middle of our orders x2 with no explanation. Another waiter (lady) was kind enough to take drink orders for the children. Nice ambient and food, but c'mon change attitude towards coloured people..wewe ni mkenya if you know what I mean. I told you I would review your attitude, but you gave no attention and also the owner of the restaurant she was only interested in asking her (guest) how mzungu how the food and service was. We had a table of 9 people. Anyways .... we all equal, and all should be treated same sawa pesa hazina rangi . Kapito?

Booked in Casamia for dinner and honestly I didn't expect this! The host was kind enough during reservations to mention that they offer complimentary pick up and drop off, if we hadn't plan any transport, which is a win! Now let's go to the food, everything was a 5/5. The complimentary bruschetta and bread was divine! We ordered the deep fried calamari for starters, mains were steak, fish and risotto all made to perfection. Delicious panacotta which I love. The service is impeccable, with well trained staff. They did a complimentary birthday cake which was incredible and this was a thought from them when the host reached out to choose a flavour. Last but not least, the ambience is beautiful, well thought out warm colours that just makes you happy! Highly recommend Casamia on your visit to Diani, they will definitely make it worthwhile.

Worth every bit and penny 👌 👍

Amazing place, totally worth a visit! We enjoyed everything from beginning to end. We had different starters, the seafood soup, different mains (fish, pasta, risotto) and also tried the desserts. Extremely tasty! The seafood soup was the highlight but everything else was a close second. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the staff is attentive and we enjoyed the nice design of the restaurant. Totally worth it, please give it a try! I am very saddened to see that such a nice place is already being bashed in some reviews here. Give them a break, they are very new and don’t deserve this at all. I hope they can persevere through this unfair nonsense and will remain in Diani for many years to come. It’s a great addition to the local scene. Quality has its price and it’s very normal that a new place might have some teething issues in...
