Joa Aqarat — Restaurant in Qibla

I order from here on deliveroo at least twice a week. It’s not deliveroo that delivers their orders, it’s their drivers or whatever company they work with to deliver. I got asked my location OVER 1 HOUR AGO by the driver (with horrible attitude) and it’s been over an hour and the item didn’t arrive. I call the driver - “I’m pouring petrol”. I call the restaurant and they say this isn’t our driver although they clearly are the ones dealing with the deliveries and not deliveroo. This is unacceptable. Raw food and rice are in these deliveries and due to their way of dealing with deliveries they are increasing the risk of food poisoning - this order will be thrown in the garbage as that risk isn’t worth it due to poor management from JOA.

Update: the manager of JOA gave me a call asking for more information on this case, acknowledging that the situation shouldn’t have happened. His attitude towards the incident clearly shows that JOA cares about their food quality as well as customer satisfaction which is a huge factor when it comes to places we choose to dine in and support. I ordered Salmon Avocado Roll and Spicy Salmon through Deliveroo today, however the delivery company was not Deliveroo, it was Wiyak and the driver went to Plajat which was far from my place and kept on saying he was in Qatar St which was not what the map was showing. After more than an hour of staying in Plajat, the food came with foul odor and taste. I reported to JOA but JOA was not very helpful saying that it is their standard way of making sushi.
