Chon Gi Va — Restaurant in Bishkek City

I had made an honest mistake. Google had indicated that the position of the Kyrgyzstan restaurant I wanted was right here. Not being able to read Cyrillic I was at odds with the name of the venue. I entered sheepishly; the sound of someone clearing their nose echoed throughout the restaurant. The staff introduced herself and spoke to me in English. Her English was great, assisting me in my meal choices. As I sat down I took a look at my phone noticing the signal was poor. On connecting to their internet and pulling up details of the restaurant I should have visited I noticed my error. I tried to cancel my order, but it was too late. Thank goodness I didn’t Cancel the order. The dishes that were to arrive were exciting. The portion sizes were huge too....

So far the best South Korean food i've ever tried. Fried salmon, japchae, stirfried beef and veggies, napa cabbage kimchi, kkakdugi, tofu, and other banchans were awesome! Haemul paejon was good, but a bit plain to my taste. I'll be back for some ramen...

You can enjoy most of Korean meals here at a reasonable price. The space is not big compared to other Korean restaurants in Bishkek. However, side dishes provided are good and clean. Specially over fermented kimchi is good...
