#Baltimore, hubby warned us not to leave luggage in the car and to stay safe. But upon arrival, the city turned out to be neat, compact, and surprisingly clean—barely any homeless folks or weed smell in sight. Quite a few Black people around, all polite and normal. We ended up strolling worry-free around the Inner Harbor area, kinda like Shanghai’s Bund but with less cultural vibe. Hit up a crab feast spot, @LP Steamers—awesome steamed seafood besides crabs, and their cocktail sauce is a standout. Skip the crab cakes though, a bit dry. #Travel #Foodie #BaltimoreEats #InnerHarbor #SeafoodLover

I regret to share our recent experience with the crab house fell far below expectations. Despite purchasing a dozen medium crabs for $80, the quality was severely lacking. Upon picking up our order just before closing time, around 815-830pm; ordered placed around 730pm, we discovered the crabs were nearly hollow, burnt, and dry, as if they had been precooked and then reheated. We contacted the establishment but they were already closed. We picked through all of them, trying to make the best of it bc we did just spend $80 and only 2 were salvageable. I'm not sure if this was bc we purchased close to closing but I wouldn't have sold these crabs to my worst enemy. After encountering this issue, I promptly contacted the establishment on Wednesday, only to be informed the owner was out of town until after Thanksgiving. Despite taking photos and expressing our concerns, we were advised to call back post-holiday. At that time, no one told me I would need to keep the crabs to return. When I reached out today, Monday, November 27th, I was informed nothing could be done as they did not physically have the crabs in question. This lack of accountability left me puzzled – should I have stored subpar crabs in my fridge for days until the owner's return? It's disheartening to report a few of the crabs even tasted spoiled. I had hoped for some resolution, especially considering the evidence provided with photos and the receipt. To add to the disappointment, when seeking accommodation, I was met with a dismissive response from L.P. Steamers, indicating a refusal to make any adjustments. This entire experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I cannot fathom returning to an establishment that not only delivers poor-quality food but also fails to address customer concerns in a satisfactory manner.

To start off, we have never written any reviews for a restaurant, poor or amazing experience… but this one… We were scammed and lied to. We were charged extra for no reason and they would not dispute, take responsibility, or action. Instead they blamed it on us. They stated themselves, parties of 5+ and $150+ checks will be automatically charged in gratuity. We were a party of 3 with a check of $130, charged $30~ of gratuity… when they provided us 0 service. We had an extremely horrible experience due to a combination of factors that the restaurant failed and neglected to take actions for. The food is mediocre at best. It’s really salty and you can taste how unfresh the food is underneath the overwhelming seasoning. For its price and advertised staple, you would expect the quality to meet to its own standard. Unclean and undesirable; the shrimps still had its poop gland/digestive tract in it too. Disgusting. However, my family and I are not picky eaters and we are grateful for food in itself. Its service and atmosphere were bigger problems. The hostess was rude and unprofessional. I was greeted with an attitude, as if I was a bother asking her to be seated. The server did not bother to refill water, give utensils, or give us a check. It’s also 90°+ Fahrenheit and all the AC were malfunctioning. It was disgusting to see your waiter drenched in sweat, dripping his bodily fluid everywhere. For the price you’re expected to pay, you would expect them to meet the standards of that pricing. They have failed in the aspect of quality food, respectable service, or a comfortable environment. Disappointed and highly advised to not visit.
