This place is a hidden gem! This place was close to our hotel so we decided to go there for dinner. The first impression is it's a locals bar/restaurant environment. The inside has signs and old pictures on the wall. There's a jukebox playing all different kinds of music. We sat at the bar. Both bartenders were amazing. Extremely friendly and provided prompt service. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and the wife ordered the fried green tomatoes with crabmeat. No joke, it was the best eggplant parmigiana I have ever tasted. The wife's meal was also outstanding. I spoke to the owner Bill and he said all of their ingredients are fresh from the garden. Well, you can definitely tell. We love this place so much that we stayed two more hours to have a few drinks. What an amazing time we had.

Superb place in a quaint neighbourhood. Feel of an Irish pub with flags and memorabilia. Plenty parking nearby, outdoor sitting in summer . Server was excellent, order was served quick. Steak burger with chips, chicken Tacos, crab soup, fried southern oysters, macOS with guacamole was today’s food. Crab soup was the best. The spices sprinkled on nachos added a special citrusy, peppery, salty, sweetness to the bland nachos and guacamole. Oysters were fresh and soft. Batter around the oysters was a bit hard not so crispy. Steak burger plate was full of potato chips. The food quantity on plates is big. Decent place to have food with friends. overall a nice and extremely clean place.

I arrived promptly at 11am for lunch. It was empty, so the service was prompt. I was eager to eat something a little different. This is an expensive restaurant. The portion sizes don't warrant their prices. Cream of Crab Soup - very flavorful but too salty. $32 Italian Steak Sandwich - The first 2 bites were good, then it went downhill from there because it was grisly. $20 Fries - What a disappointment after asking if the fries were fresh cut. I was told yes. They were absolutely disgusting. They were the worst. They seemed refried. They had an old oil taste. They were also hard. I actually paid an extra for these. They should have come with the expensive steak.

Dear Barracudas' waitstaff,

I 100% apologize for my family last time we visited.

-Rick

Okay.. now that that's done: My NY family needed to be picked up in Baltimore after their spring break cruise. My short visit with them consisted of picking them up, driving them across the street for church, then going out to lunch. While in church (yeah yeah..) I yelped restaurants nearby and Barracudas looked very promising.

Barracuda's immediately came off with that mom-and-pop feel to it. Our group of 6 showed up at noon on a Sunday and there weren't many big tables on the first floor. We went upstairs and got our table, sharing the room with a party of ~20 (post baptism - same church). The owner (I'm assuming - just a vibe) sat us and was very polite. Even dealt with my mom's "You guys don't just serve fish here do you?! Being 'barracudas' and all?'" well. The menus were clearly day-to-day as it was a handwritten photocopy. The portions were HUGE. We got a mix from chicken and waffles, to the shrimp and crab omelette. My mom also special requested a BLT (thanks, again). We also got a few of their vodka-strawberry drink things (house special). It was really good. I insisted my parents have one, and it definitely took a bit of their edge off. Thank you alcohol.

All the food was great. There was a mix-up between our waitress and the kitchen apparently. We ordered a Po'Boy and got a Pizza.. She said it was a language mix-up between her and the kitchen, but the ticket said pizza, so not sure how that happened. They fixed it, of course, but by the time the meal came out, everyone else was pretty much done eating and we took that meal to-go.

Pricing seemed high at first, but after we saw how big the meals were, the price was definitely fair. Everyone was super nice and I'll definitely go back if I'm around Locust...

I'm so angry I can't think of sleeping... Today after brunch our party of 4 decided to stop and have few drinks. After spending more than 200 good american hard earned dollars in a bit less than 2 hours. Two of the people in our party one black the other white stood up and were looking at the shabby "art" in the wall. After the our friend toughed the picture with her finger the other friend who was black did the exact same thing and out of nowhere comes Billy the Bigoted Barracuda stumbling over and says "stop destroying the picture" confusing we all turn to the look and the already frayed picture of course it had not been destroyed nor disturbed at all... He stood toe to toe with this woman streaming in her face that she had been over-served which she had not. Of the 4 of us only 3 were consuming alcohol we each had 3 beverages over an hour and 45 mins. None of us were over-served. We ask what the issue was and Billy says"I don't want you touching it"... Yes I know in this climate we have to get in where we fit in, but why does it have to be this way .. had we walked in and they told us you guys aren't welcomed here, it would still be an issue but I could respect that more than a loud mouth drunk bigot making a scene after the fact.. So stay away and spend your money and time somewhere,...

This is a pretty nice place with some nice outdoor seating. Been here twice and the music and atmosphere has been good on both occasions. The three of us went there tonight and service was slow. We got the nachos and guac, which wasn’t too bad. Waitress didn’t do a great job and had us waiting before we could put in for the other food. We had fried oysters (4 for 17$, which seems steep to me) which were ok, and we had a smashburger and a crabcake. Both were ordered with fries as substitute for chips (???). The fries were very darn brown and seemed like old and stale fries. Since the waitress didn’t really come by until we were done, we didn’t complain about them. When we asked for the check we asked if we could do something about the fries, considering they were basically half the two meals and were inedible. She rolled her eyes and went back to ask. She came back and offered to take 2$ off the bill. So, basically 1$ per plate! I understand fries aren’t expensive, but the service was lousy, my experience was bad, and half of two meals was inedible. Customer service is dead, at least at this place. Won’t be...
