Place is in the center, in front of a really nice park... Staff is great and educated... I had an Infusiones de Frutos Rojos (like 8, its really good) and girlfriend had Mimosas and White wine. We first ordered Benedict Eggs (Huevos Benedictinos), it was good but missing one poached egg ??? and it was way too sweet for a salsa holandesa mix... Then we had the Huevos Rotos con Pulpo (Broken Eggs with Octopus), it was really good but only 2 skimmed parts of different octopus cuts (not the same animal or width or height in their tails).. it also had serrano it was a good spanish mix. Potatoes were great too. Then we had the Taquitos de Tuetano, and theh were good but, they should use a different kind of bone, as they are using the head of the femur.. and you end up with maybe 20 grams of tuetano for 3 tacos (all empty with only seasonings lol) i didn't get it.. half of the bone they used was non usable, hard and non cooked to get the tuetano out and also a waste. It did look nice and all plates were instagrammables. At the end the waiter asked us to leave because they wanted to put together one of the 2 only tables for couples... all others had over 10 people in there... Blah.. im not sure if ill get back.. but they gotta fix their tuetanos tacos as they do look good and seems they are the signature dish.

Definitely deserves a 5 star rating. The menu is diligent and uncluttered, though the options in each segment is few, they have just about for everyone's tastes. I ordered a burger which was delightful. My wife ordered the sandwich which was spectacular. Mind you I don't use words like spectacular unnecessarily! The ambience is just about right with crisp service. The service staff seems to know the dishes well and are able to guide you well. My only grouch has to be that the tables are shaky and needs a better solution than folded paper napkins. All in all I can see myself go there again despite being a little on the pricier side. But again this is Villa de Leyva, high prices seems to be the norm here. Edits - On my second visit I found the food to be as spectacular as it was the first time! The service still very crisp, efficient and friendly. The table was not shaky anymore. Would go back again!

High hopes…. Slightly above average experience. My girlfriend loves this place but it was my first time dining here. We had reservations but didn’t need them because there was barely anyone there. Maybe it was a slow weekend and it was fiesta night. The service was solid but the food wasn’t as good as my gf Myles it up to be. I got a burger and it was undercooked and the bun was hard (maybe stale). The fish tacos were descent but not memorable, and I tried a slice of pizza, which was ok.

Really great place to eat in Villa de Leyva! The atmosphere was cool and relaxing, and our waitress, Maria, was really helpful and nice. We had an appetizer with melted cheese and crackers, and it was delicious. For my main course, I had lamb chops, and they were amazing. My friend ordered a pizza, and said it was one of the best pizzas they’ve had. We all had a great time and recommend it!

One, if not the best, restaurant in Villa de Leyva. Food is delicious, service is right and the only thing lacking is ambiance and decor, however it's a nice place. But let's get back to the food. Order the brie for sure, try the Italian brocoli, cocktails are solid good. Overall, pretty pretty good. They have high chairs for kids if needed. We'll be back for sure.

The location is shared between the bistro, and a food fair, so you have to choose where you're going when you get in. The bistro is. A small place with few tables, but it's cozy. The food is top notch, they use local produce. Most of the plates are cooked or pass through a ceramic oven which gives them a nice taste.
