BAD SERVICE with average food: obviously they hire people who have no clue what customer services means. After we enter the restaurant and got our seat the waiter came along each minute to ask us unpatiently for our order. We ordered 4 meals and two starters plus drinks. The drinks came along in an okay time but than we needed to wait aprox. 25 minutes, until the first plate (pizza) was delivered. We asked the waiter for a matching wine and he recommended a Rioja (Spanish wine) instead of any Italian wine on the list – he was not aware of this at all. After another 20 minutes the next plate (pasta) was delivered ... the two starters (soups) didn't appear at all and after waiting another 20 minutes for nothing we decided to cancel the two not delivered dishes. On top of the long waiting time the waiter had a lausy "I don't care" attitude – and no dignity to apologize for the miserable service. The delivered dishes were average ... but also don't expect authentic Italian cuisine far...

We tried the delicious famous Latvian black garlic rye bread, Ķiploku grauzdiņi. A beautifully presented starter of lightly salted Salmon and cucumber Carpaccio came with rye bread chips and a balsamic Caviar. Our other starter was the pink Tuna Tartare and a sesame sauce.
My main was a Latvian Sturgeon with stewed tomatoes, green beans and new potatoes. The other dish was a chicken fillet with a creamy chanterelles sauce with onion chips and potato pancakes
Service was friendly and though not all staff speak English there was some staff who did.
Highly recommended for a pleasant meal especially if you are outdoors in the covered...

Initially couldn’t decide between a light lunch or a full on pig out. The decision was kind of made for me. This place needs some staff management, it was utter chaos. It was near impossible to get someone to take my order. Some of the staff could only seat people or clear tables but apparently not take your order.
It’s a shame really. The food when it did make an appearance was rather good. I chose the tagliatelle with beef and boletus. The beef was well flavoured and the mushroom was both soft and muscular. Coating it all was this thick jus-like sauce which was very moreish. It was the perfect...
