MOON PIZZA — Restaurant in Jūrmala

This is a nice restaurant with great views over Jomas Iela in Majori, Jurmala. You can sit inside, or at the open roof terrace. I had a lunch with my friends, and we were quite happy with the atmosphere and the service. However, the serving time was pretty long, the meal size was smaller than expected, and my friend didn't like her milk cocktail that was too sugary. The prices were okay for the value. Pro tip: you can use the paid toilet with a special free token that you can get from the waiter. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant as a nice sit out place to chat, but not necessarily...

Drinks were promised immediately, but the drinks arrived 10 minutes later. There were no expiration dates on the sauces. There was hair on the cutlery. The price of drinks is too huge. The juices are in the hot tea category.

Pirmo reizi ieejot MOON PIZZA, radās sajūta, ka esam iegājuši Čili picā, kas tur atradās iepriekš - remonts un mēbeles nav mainītas vispār, lai gan tagad šeit ir pavisam cits, jauns restorāns. Ēdienkarti gaidījām apmēram 10 minūtes. Viesmīle atvainojās, sakot, ka aizmirsa par mums - grūti saprast, kā tas var notikt, ja aizņemti bija tikai 2–3 galdiņi. Paldies par to, ka ēdienus un dzērienus nevajadzēja ilgi gaidīt. Ļoti garšīgas bija b/a limonādes, taču tom yum zupa mūs diemžēl neiepriecināja - tā bija ļoti sāļa. Uz mūsu sūdzību viesmīle atbildēja, ka zupu pārtaisīt neesot iespējams, jo jau sagatavots vesels katls, bet piedāvāja kaut ko citu. Mēs atteicāmies. Jau ejot prom, pie mums pienāca cita viesmīle un piedāvāja uzgaidīt 20–25 minūtes, lai pagatavotu jaunu zupu, taču tobrīd jau bija par vēlu. Aizgājām ar ne pārāk labu iespaidu. Varbūt nākotnē iegriezīsimies kādā vasaras vakarā iedzert dzērienus, bet tikai tad, ja MOON PIZZA būs...
