Doma Dārzs — Restaurant in Riga

May 19 came 15 minutes before the closure of the kitchen and we refused to order any dishes at all, although we planned to order at 8 !! man and food and hookahs and stuff. May 20 at 15:00 I came and went to one of the waitresses to find out whether there are places with rosettes, to which he received an answer: I am today the first day, I do not know, check with other employees (thanks for making me run around the restaurant and ask everyone about the presence of sockets for a laptop). In the end, I found the rosette myself, sat down at a table, called the waitress and 40 !!!! minutes waited for someone to come up to me, although I planned to order only drinks (cola, tea, alcohol and small things).

Dear owners of the institution - I have never met such service even in the most terrible restaurant in the USSR style, the attitude absolutely does not justify your location and prices, I understand when they do not fit out for appearance or behavior, but the person with the latest makbuk, iphone and Armani suit - completely ignored by the waiters?

The funniest thing - then came the musician, who disconnected the makbuk from the adapter, saying that music does not work because of it. "

I came here last week for a quick snack since I was heading to the airport after that. I had to call 3 waiters to get the menu so I lost 10 minutes by then.

After that I asked for a quick snack and the lady told me that everything takes some time to took... I asked her how long for chicken wings and she told me 15 minutes!!! How is possible so long time for simple chicken wings? - I asked - and she replied smiling because they have a LOT of clients... but the place was half empty. The only fast snack she proposed me was garlic bread!... I was astonished but had to accept since I was getting late for my flight. They brought me a huge plate of dark and very oily garlic bread enough for 3 people at least that of course I couldn't finish.

I tried also the bathrooms but it was a bad surprise to find out that they were outhouse plastic bathrooms, just like in the concerts, and to make it worse the doors were broken.

To conclude I also asked if they had Wifi but unfortunately NO!

The only positive thing was the location but it's not worth the terrible service and food.

Food was delicious, hands down! But pathetic service during dinner hours. They were closing at 21.00 and I ordered food by 20.30. I ordered food + dessert. They served all at once! I requested for some more time with dessert serving as I wanted to enjoy hot food first! They took back the dessert at 20.45 and again served it back by 20.50 and how could one enjoy if they make customers rush eating! Dessert was melting and I requested for some more time, it was very annoying. In the end they said kitchen is closing but you can take your time at 20.50, also asked me to pay bill before even I started eating!! It was very bad service and I lost my mood for the evening. When you serve food, be mindful that you are making customers day! No restaurant rush their customers like this, frustrating part was they were ok to take orders for beers even post 21.00 that means you are not strict on closing! Very...
