Limone — Restaurant in Riga

I recently had lunch here and it was a truly disappointing experience from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being almost empty when we arrived, the service was very slow. We waited a long time for our food, which was served in a staggered manner with each ingredient arriving at 5-minute intervals. This ruined the dining experience as we couldn't enjoy the meal all at once. Both of our main courses were supposed to come with grated cheese, but it was missing when the dishes arrived. The cheese finally came when the meals were almost half done, and the waiter covered the entire table and everything on it with cheese, making a mess and adding to our frustration. No seasonings for the main course were offered or placed on the table if needed. The extra ordered appetizers, which were brought out almost when the main courses were finished, came with just balsamic vinegar and olive oil. This lack of basic seasoning options was another disappointment. To make matters worse, the dessert we ordered was completely forgotten. After reminding the waitstaff, we were informed it would take an additional 40 minutes. When we finally asked again, the waiter admitted he had forgotten about us and then carelessly served the dessert. When we requested to speak to the manager, he seemed uninterested in resolving the issue. His only solution was to serve the dessert himself, but then he informed us they were out of the specific dessert we had ordered. Despite all these issues, we were still charged the full bill, and the manager showed no responsibility for the poor service we received. We spent more than two hours at this restaurant for two meals, two drinks with appetizers, and a dessert that wasn't even included. The food was not good at all, we were a group of 6, carbonara was made not creamy at all and the pancetta or guancale that was used for it wasn’t cooked well, it was chewy, really fat and too salty, chicken soup was too peppery, ravioli with mushrooms and truffle sauce was too salty and no truffles felt in sauce, as well it felt to little, risotto with prosciutto was bland and not good as well. Drinks were also pretty bad, bruschetta that we took was made with focaccia instead of other types of bread, so again not too good, the cheese they put on top of it was sprinkled all over the table. Overall very disappointing experience of a dinner. Didn’t have more photos but not coming back for sure. The guy who brought soup spilled some around and was not too accurate in general. Честно, говоря ожидали совсем другого впечатления о данном ресторане и очень расстроены. Начнем с того что нас провели до столика, который мы бронировали, принесли меню и вот мы уже выбрали, что мы желаем и настроились на это, но увы, когда официант пришел принимать заказ, нас забыли предупредить, что половину из того чего мы хотели были на «стопе», уже в этот момент не приятно, затем заказывая напитки опять неожиданность, нам принесли меню, которое ещё не ввели в оборот, то есть половину напитков которые мы там видели, из просто не существует. Затем ожидание якобы максимум 40 минут, ждали 1:20, но в хорошей компании можно и подождать, но и людей было не так много в зале и на террасе, но да ладно, может еду на вынос готовят или мало персонала на кухне🙄 И вот тут уже кульминация нам приносят наши первые закуски- брускетты это было довольно вкусно, НО ребята это фокачча, брускетта выглядит иначе, но тут каждый сам художник и каждый видит так как он хочет. Так же одной персоне из нашей компании приносят суп, который очень активно расплескали по дороге и поставили нам на стол ( скажу так, всякое может быть, но как минимум не приятно, что сначала в твоей тарелке были руки официанта, а теперь ты должен это есть и вытирать свою тарелку сам), мы перекусили и ждём основной наш заказ, казалось бы принесут, сразу как прибрали (кое как) наш стол, но и тут мы ещё ждём 25 минут . Приносят нам и мы честно говоря в неком недопонимание, мы все были в Италии и хорошо знакомы с итальянской кухней и блюда честно говоря очень сильно недотягивают до ожидания, паста имеет очень странный запах, равиоли будто детская порция 😅 И хочу отметить что за все время к нам не разу не полетел официант и не спросил, «все ли хорошо? Может вам ещё что нибудь предложить?» нас будто не существовало, опят же в ресторане только 3 столика сидят🙄 про обещанную лимончеллу после ужина тоже забыли и мы уже сами спросили, но и она была отвратительна, на вкус чистая водка и капелька лимона - вам явно стоит побывать в Италии и продегустировать лимончеллу у них😅 Я редко пишу отзывы и сколько людей столько и мнений, но мы ожидали...
