Summarizing my experience at this hotel is quite challenging. Unfortunately, it ranks among the most disappointing stays I’ve ever had.

Upon entering my room, I was met with a stale and moldy smell. This was corroborated by the staff member who accompanied me to my room.

As I began to unpack, I noticed the room was in poor condition. The fittings, furniture, and floors were all scratched, chipped, or cracked. Additionally, the lighting was quite dim.

The following day, I reported the moldy odor and showed pictures of the room’s condition to the reception. Instead of moving me to another room, the staff's initial solution was to spray air freshener. It took me returning to the front desk a second time, the next day before they finally took action. They presented the room change as a generous upgrade.

While the new room didn’t have the unpleasant smell and was somewhat better maintained, the AC wouldn’t go below 26.5°C. The room remained uncomfortably hot unless I opened the window, which turned off the AC. Despite reporting this issue, no action was taken until I requested it again. The solution was to cut the circuit breaker to the AC in the room.

There were multiple issues during my stay:

The plaque in the elevator indicating "Rewards Floor" is not an official Radisson Rewards benefit.

The discount through the Radisson app does not signify status recognition.

At the CUT Bar, guests need to fetch their own menu, and there are gaps in the hardwood floor that could pose a hazard.

The shower temperature fluctuated between warm and scalding hot.

Room cleaning was inconsistent; I found gravel in both rooms, and toilet paper wasn’t restocked.

The hotel’s décor feels dated, reminiscent of a 90s vision of the future, and the design features are unusual. For instance, in my upgraded room, one could enter the bathroom through the closet from the hallway. The blackout curtains were falling apart at the seams and hooks.

Given these issues, I cannot recommend this hotel. I suggest finding alternative accommodations to avoid similar frustrations. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to reconsider my membership in the Radisson Rewards program, especially since the "Rewards Floor" is not an official benefit.

Ultimately, it seems the hotel is not well-managed, and these issues reflect poorly on the...

Had a great stay at this hotel and I'd say it's one of the best in Riga (I stayed at 4 other ones). Some reviews mention dated furniture. I'm quite confused what people expect... It seemed pretty modern to me and was in very good condition. The room (1 King bed) was spacious and nicely appointed (one clearly missing nightstand was funny though). The bed was very comfortable. I'm a light sleeper and travel with my own earplugs but didn't need to use them and slept very well. We had a regular room in the middle of the building, with windows facing the courtyard. AC worked well too.

Bathrooms are a little bit awkward, it's a silly design I've seen at other fancy hotels too where the bathroom door doesn't really close. The shower wasn't enclosed, as other reviews notes, and naturally, leaked all over. It wasn't a big issue for us though. Toiletries had amazing scent and were very good quality. Little convenience items like slippers, show horn, etc. in the room.

Breakfast was definitely the best in town. I was blown away by the selection and in 2 days we stayed we didn't even get a chance to try everything, there was just so much! Nice coffee, fresh bread and pastries, plenty of fresh fruit. And you could even special order from the menu, all included. It was well worth the cost.

There was flavored water, some apples and candy in the lobby during the day. Tea kettle in the room and mini fridge. We booked through Expedia but at the check-in the clerk was kind enough to find my old Radisson account, so that we could get free water and other perks.

The location is a bit farther from Vecriga (old town) and typical touristy places, which can be an advantage. It's a short walk to old town and multiple public transport stops nearby. Park across the street is great for jogging and for kids to play, the area is very safe and quiet in the evening.

Everyone we interacted with was very kind and spoke...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere.

The staff at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff was attentive, efficient, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests.

The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of style and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room also boasted modern amenities and a well-designed layout, providing a delightful space to relax and unwind.

One of the highlights of my stay was the delectable dining options available at the hotel. The on-site restaurant served an array of mouthwatering dishes prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. I also appreciated the diverse menu options that catered to different dietary preferences.

Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to various attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. It made exploring the city convenient and hassle-free.

Overall, my experience at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel surpassed my expectations in every way. The combination of exceptional service, elegant accommodations, and delightful dining made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable experience in the heart of the city. I look forward to returning...

Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel at Elizabetes iela 73, Riga, LV-1050 is a truly cozy and convenient choice for exploring the city—here’s why I loved staying there. I was especially impressed by the front desk team, who were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout my stay. It’s such a thoughtful touch that the hotel makes water available in the hallways and by reception—perfect for quenching your thirst right when you walk in. The breakfast spread was also a highlight: varied, delicious, and well-prepared—definitely a great way to start your day. One of my favorites is their bed, so soft and comfy😊. Located in the heart of Riga, the hotel puts you just steps away from some of the city’s top attractions. You’re a short walk from Vērmanes Garden, Berg’s Bazaar, and the majestic Freedom Monument, and within easy reach of the Latvian National Opera, Esplanade Park, and the bustling Old Town with its cobbled streets and historic charm. Plus, the elegant Latvian National Museum of Art and St. Peter’s Church aren’t far either—there’s always something nearby to explore. All-in-all, with its central location, welcoming staff, thoughtful amenities, and tasty breakfast, staying at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel truly elevates your visit to Riga. 🫶

I checked in today and enjoying the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel, and I was truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by two staff members - Laura at the reception and Bartender Veronica. Laura was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. She even recommended that I become a member so she could assist me with early check-in, which is greatly appreciated. Bartender Veronica was equally impressive, taking the time to prepare a special dietary meal for me with utmost care and attention to detail. Her kindness and obliging nature made my stay even more enjoyable. I'd also like to extend my appreciation to Ms. Solvita, the Operations Manager, who took the time to listen to my feedback and appreciation for Laura and Veronica. Her expressive gratitude and commitment to recognizing her team's efforts were truly commendable, and it's clear that she is a dedicated and effective leader. My heartfelt appreciation goes to Laura, Veronica, and Ms. Solvita for their outstanding service and leadership. They truly are making my stay at Radisson Blu memorable, and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for excellent hospitality.

Very good hotel, excellent location and great customer service. The hotel is conveniently located near many of the Riga's 🇱🇻 top attractions, including the Old Town, National Museum and the Riga Central Market and even a LIDO close by. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the city and enjoy its rich culture and be close to night life and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, clean and had comfortable beds, blackout curtains, and soundproof windows ensured a restful night's sleep. The room amenities, including a flat-screen TV, minibar, and coffee/tea making facilities, provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Maybe the bathroom shower could use small improvements? The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.
