We had an incredible dining experience at this Ukrainian restaurant in Riga. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the atmosphere — the interior is beautifully designed with thoughtful details that create a warm, authentic, yet modern vibe. You can tell that a lot of care went into the decor; it’s both cozy and stylish without feeling overdone.
The food was a true highlight. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, beautifully plated, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You could really taste the tradition behind the recipes, but with a refined and contemporary twist. The cocktails were just as impressive: creative, perfectly balanced, and matched the food so well. We especially loved how the cocktail menu felt just as curated and intentional as the food.
While the prices reflect a more premium dining experience, the quality, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere make it well worth it. Everything from the service to the smallest garnish felt deliberate and high-end. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a memorable meal in Riga — whether you’re new to Ukrainian cuisine or already love it — this spot is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be...

I’ll start by saying that I really liked the design and the overall vibe of the place: a new Ukrainian cuisine restaurant feels quite refreshing for the Riga food scene.
The food was also yummy and authentic, yet with a modern touch to it.
Now, the thing that completely ruined our experience is the absolutely unprofessional, unorganised and unpleasant customer service.
First of, the waiter was extremely arrogant and gave us attitude, which is totally inappropriate for a restaurant of this price range. Also we had to repeat our order three times because he would keep forgetting and messing it up.
Then comes the waiting game: we waited for 50 minutes to get our starters, which is completely insane (considering the restaurant was only half full). The mains then came somewhat quickly, however we didn’t receive any apology nor complement from the staff for the long waiting time. The service overall was very unorganised and unwelcoming.
Despite the nice vibe and promosing food, the bad service just outweighs all the positives.
We had a very bad experience and are definitely not...
Read moreWe recently visited the restaurant and, unfortunately, left with mixed feelings. While the interior is beautifully decorated and creates a pleasant atmosphere, the service left much to be desired.
Despite there being only a few tables occupied, the service was surprisingly slow. We received our soups within 15 minutes (to mention in Bosch potato was well cooked, but in bograch was al dente, might be how it should be, not sure), which was acceptable, but waiting nearly 50 minutes for just two portions of vareniki and one portion of draniki felt excessive. The waitress did forget to bring the bread initially, though she acknowledged it later when serving the mains and offered a complimentary item as an apology — a nice gesture, but it doesn’t fully make up for the overall experience.
We also experienced delays with the second round of drinks, which added to the feeling of disorganisation. In our opinion, the value doesn’t quite match the quality of food and service provided.
This place might be worth visiting once for the decor and ambiance, but unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend it as a regular...
