Mosaic Hotel — Hotel in Riga

I stayed at this hotel last summer. The Latvia trip is the best I have ever had, except that this hotel left a blemish on my experience. Firstly, the hotel staff was extremely rude to Asians. On one night, I forgot their entrance’s passcode and got yelled at by the receptionist, who spoke broken English with a strong Russian accent. I did not see them treating White guests the same way. Next, on each floor, everyone had to share a stinky bathroom. Lastly, when I expressed concerns on their Booking.com page, not only did they deny everything, but also they spread lies under my review, accusing me of lacking English command when their staff members were the ones who could barely speak it (they probably thought that non-whites could not speak European languages). First of all, this is not a hotel, however they charge the price as for the hotel. There is only one bathroom together with the toilet for the whole floor. Through paper walls you can hear every single word from other rooms. The whole structure is shaking when someone on the floor closes the door. Since there are no toilets in the rooms, drunken people are crossing through the corridor all night long and you hear their every step. Outstanding hotel in Riga!! For this price, you are getting everything you need: Modern, eclectic and CLEAN interior Good location. you can literally walk to anywhere you need to go within 10-30mins from the hotel A complete breakfast with homemade salmon sandwich!

What stands out the most is the entire staff of Mosaic. They are all very courteous, polite and helpful. Whether its giving us pointers on the map or lending us umbrellas when it rains, they know how to run...
