Friendly hostess upon arrival, came on a busy Friday without reservation, but she was able to get us a table without waiting, outside was a bit noisy so decided to dine indoors.
Beautiful interior, and comfortable seating, the space feels new, confident, spacious and well planned. A tiny bit too warm on a hot summer day, but still enjoyable.
Service was impeccable, the perfect balance of friendly, professional, attentive and respectful. Good recommendations on the wine list and off menu appetizers and desserts.
This restaurant is something that you don’t find everyday at this generous price point. It is highly functional, from start to finish. Newly opened but with experienced crew.
The food, came out fast, was warm, freshly cooked and you could feel a caring hand from the chef. This is true market cooking, in harmony with the season, chicken for two was a highlight, also the complimentary side of tomatoes.

Dish ingredient quality was exceptional, each dish had its charm - very elevated but still something homely about each one of them. Honestly, this pasta might me my favorite out of all pastas i have tried in Riga. I’m already planning to return for it again!
Also tried the smoked beef bone marrow which I can recommend, and beet tartare was super interesting, surprising and a journey for the taste buds with the nut and beet combo (they go together amazingly, as it turns out) and the service was great, making a table reservation was easy, we were greeted at the door very nicely. Staff was attentive, and...

Deer cotlet was delicious as well as young cabbage, but the sauce not. Chicken was moist, but quite small portion. Hasselback potato is hard to spoil 😁. One truly good food was the dessert, Crepe Susette. That orange caramel is something to die for 🤩🤩. Overall will try to return in some months to see if any improvements. P.S. They have orange wine by glasses, and when I choose that, water started to explain what is orange wine 😁,...
