SmartCoffee Roastery — Restaurant in Sigulda

Finally there's a good (specialty) coffee place in Sigulda! We have been waiting for it for quite some time. Currently, they're only roasting Brazil, which has the classical chocolate notes and, therefore, will please most coffee drinkers, but I'm curious to try their other coffees once they appear on the menu. We took cappuccino (with a nicely thick layer of foam) and several deserts. All of them were pretty good and gladly were not too sweet. We came with 3 kids and were happy to see that there were loads of toys for them. The place was also clean and neat....

Overall it is a nice place to sit with comfy chairs and cool staff. Prices are normal compared to other places. Not cheap but have seen worse Some criticism though: Cheesecake tastes way more like cottage-cheese cake, which is deffo not the same thing, and I was expecting something else. It is still tasty though.

My friend also got a weird plastic thing in her coffee, like part of a bottle cap, that was not supposed to be there, but everything was fine with the rest of the drinks, so its just a one...

If you come here, you will get a dog-friendly place, staff who's polite and friendly with the customers, freshly roasted tasty coffee and delicious cakes, good prices and finally interesting stories about their coffee and ideas for future growth of the business. Definitely...
