Roadster Diner — Restaurant in Achrafieh

Yesterday i had a dinner at roadster diner ABC achrafieh and got food poisoning from a Mighty chicken burger. I am sharing this post, because the restaurant lost a lot in its food quality over the last couple of years. It is not the first time, that i notice, that the food quality is not as it used to be, but this time I wanted share my extremely bad experience since I might miss a very important event related to one of the most closest people to me. Without details, I have the full package symptoms of a food poisoning. Why I strongly believe that this was at this particular restaurant, is because I haven't eaten throughout the full day yesterday, nor did I do today. Moreover, I called the restaurant to inform them about the incident, and instead of contacting me directly to understand how it happened, I received only a promise that someone will reach out to me. In my personal opinio , in such situations, it is crucial to contact the affected person in order to prevent additional similar cases. However, I couldn't expect anything else, since we are witnessing times where quality control and responsibility is clearly missing. Of course it’s not my first time at roadster, specifically i’ve been to this branch twice in one week and felt a bit of disappointment. To start the first time we ordered burger and curly fries. You can see in the photo that the curly fries were damaged as in there’s black spots. No issue here because they apologised and replaced it. For this visit my only point was that we were sitting close to the service counter and it was not clean or organised. My second visit was yesterday, and where to start. First the table was dirty and the waitress barely cleaned it when we asked for. The food presentation was not neat (smashed avocado, dirty platter’s edge, fries were half fresh half not, chicken for the platter was over cooked and burnt) and it’s the first time i get served such way at roadster. We were sitting inside and the waiters were going around in a disturbing way and a lot of noise coming out from the kitchen. Overall experience was bad not the roadster we were used to. Rethinking going to that branch again with all the mess in one week...

I feel roadster needs to recheck its prices and most of all presentation of the food! Compared to other competitive restaurants I am not seeing any added value for me to keep coming back (this week alone I visited Roadster 4 times!) and I keep leaving with a less desire to come back again. The only thing making me come back is the Asian noodle crab salad and the lava temptation burger and the cheese at heart!

Roadster please work on the presentation of the food; yesterday’s plate seemed like an empty poor plate compared to other restaurant in the same location and same price value. (I had a chicken plate and the pieces of chicken looks almost like strips or as if it was one piece cut in 4 to make it look like there is quantity)

I have been coming here since I was a kid and this place has so much memories for me and I hate to see other restaurants winning me over lately!

Presentation and visuals are as equal as taste...
