I was impressed by both the service by the wait staff (Kevin) as well as the chef's preparation of the meal. My started was the Tuna Teriyaki. It was served over a bed of mixed vegetables sauteed with Teriyaki and soy sauce. The slight saltiness of the vegetable paired well with the Tuna that was seared perfectly 1/4 on all sides and sliced.
My main course was Wienerschnitzel, the chef was able to make it without used any eggs due to my allergies. It came out with a nice breaded coating and served with a cranberry glaze on the side. I asked Kevin to pair a wine with the meal and it complimented the Wienerschnitzel perfectly. The sides were asparagus and parsley potat oes. The asparagus was served Al Dente and the potatoes were still slightly firm but cooked completely though without being to the point of mushy.
While previous reviews indicate that the place was smokey, there weren't many people in the bar so I didn't notice a problem tonight. However, I'm sure with a crowded bar the entire restaurant could become somewhat...

I am quite disappointed. Despite a delicious salad, the pancake and pulled chicken dish was very dry making it hard to swallow. The whole menu was overpriced for what it is.

When I asked for a plastic spoon, the waiter at the bar told me that " We don't have a plastic spoons because we are a restaurant" in a very arrogant tone "the deserts we make here are to eaten here, we do not do take aways" he said again in an arrogant tone.
It was quite shocking and uncalled for. This could all have been communicated by a simple "No sorry, we don't have a plastic spoon"
I left the packed ice-cream and walked away.
The sassiness and arrogance was unwarranted. I hope for the sake of everyone else that this was a one off incident. This ruined my last moments in...
Read moreAs a first time visitor it was really hard to find a door/entrance that was open. I had all but given up and assumed the place was closed. It wasn't and the third door I found let me in.
The service is lovely and no problems with menus and ordering in English.
The menu is simple and authentic. Everything comes fresh and cooked to perfection.
I would highly recommend the two staple dishes of schnitzel and the cordon bleu. Chef special deserts are all good and I would also give a nod to the Weiss Beer.
Not cheap but very good value. I will be back for...
