Café BarDuz — Restaurant in Vaduz

We were passing through the country during a trip so we stopped to walk around. We saw the cafe which looked inviting so decided to stop. The coffee was mediocre and overpriced but ok. The service was hectic but ok. We went to the souvenir shop close by and walking back through I stopped back into the cafe to use the toilet. I had looked for a public toilet but since I’m not familiar with the area, I didn’t see one and I knew there was one in the cafe. There was an old couple just sitting on a couch inside the restaurant and I had the feeling they were talking to the waitress about me. I shrugged it off. I was quick and didn’t make a mess. On the way out, the waitress stopped me and told me that next time I should use the public toilet further down.

She knew I was foreign, her over priced mediocre coffee is the reason I had to use the toilet in the first place, and my husband paid with a note and we didn’t wait for change so I essentially paid her for the 4 squares of toilet paper I used.

If you don’t want tourist money, don’t have an establishment in a tourist area. If you don’t like people, don’t open a service oriented establishment.

When we stopped, I thought I would probably never come to this country again but as we walked around, and saw its beauty, I began to think it might be a good place to visit again one day. I hope the rest of the people in your country are not as...

War Heute mit Freunden und Familie zu Gast. Wir wählten das Lokal aufgrund der angenehmen Lage draußen in der Stadt, welche sich leider schlussendlich als das einzig Positive heraustellte.

Wir bestellten alle verschiedene Kaffeesorten und wurden unfreundlich von einer Mitarbeiterin empfangen. Nach einiger Zeit längeren Wartens wurden unsere Kaffee's mit unverständlichen Zeitabständen zwischendrin gebracht. Schuld wurde auf die Kaffeemaschine gewiesen, wobei die Zeit zu lang war als dass diese daran verschuldet hätte sein können.

Der Cappuchino welchen wir bestellten war wässrig und selbst im Vergleich zu Instant-Kaffee von lokalen Discountern recht bedürftig. Auch sind wir darin stimmig, dass die Bedienung sich unprofessionell verhielt. Zwar ist uns wohl bewusst, dass man in der Gastronomie gestresst ist, aber bei mäßiger Kundschaft ist es doch zu erwarten, ein wenig mehr rezeptiv und freundschaftlich gegenüber den Gästen zu sein.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr unzufrieden und werden in Zukunft zweifelsohne andere Orte besuchen, und können diesen Platz wegen Qualität der Getränke und Mitarbeiter nicht empfehlen. Die Ambiente kann jedenfalls auch an benachbarten etablissements genossen werden und ist kein faktor, der die anderen...

Buddha bowl was the most confusing plate of food I’ve ever seen. Green beans, peas and cauliflower, with raspberries and other fresh berries with a drizzle of balsamic on a bed of rice, lentils and chickpeas. Not to mention the fig.
