It’s unfortunate that I can’t comment on the food, but my review will be about the customer service experience. I interacted with two employees at the restaurant. I had no issues when interacting with the first one. The first employee told me that they only had the lunch menu and I wanted to see the lunch menu before deciding to eat there. However, a second one soon came after I entered. She quickly informed me that I would need a medical mask (I was wearing a fabric one). I had no problem with that and asked if she had one. She got one from a box for me, which I was prepared to put on after ordering (as taking my mask off to change it while standing in front of her seemed worse than just waiting a bit to change the mask). She made the comment that I needed to change the mask now as it was like I was “wearing nothing”. As I’m about to change the mask, she says that they have two kinds of soups. I was not interested in the soups so I was prepared to leave. As I’m leaving, she tells me to wait. I have to pay .30 for the mask.

I probably wouldn’t have written this review if she did not ask me to pay for the mask, especially at a price that is higher than the mask is worth. I searched for the law in Lithuania after the interaction and it seems that medical, not fabric, masks are now required in public spaces. That isn’t really the issue; the issue is that this should have been handled differently. My vaccination QR was never checked so worrying about compliance with the law doesn’t seem to be the main...

Excellent Lithuanian traditional food. Also, their beers, especially the dark lager, are excellent. Because the place was booked full, we were seated next to door, which is not a problem because we didn’t make a reservation. So, I cannot say about atmosphere much than where we sat. That area was way too bright and plain, but like I said, we were siting next to door and bar, not in the better dining area. The Zeppeling potato dish was probably the best I’ve had, so definitely go and try it out. What comes to service, our waiter was friendly, but the other one seemed almost hostile. I have a loud voice and when I get happy, I know that my voice can get a bit louder than usually, but this place was the first in my life where the angry waiter (not ours, but the hostile one) SHUSHED me! Like what?! XD It was a full restaurant with a lot of noice but she shushed me! 😆I was so shocked because of the absurdity. Especially weird because we also spent quite a much money compared the others, you could think that this kind of service wouldn’t happen. I’m 37 and never had I’ve been shushed in the restaurant. So, that gave a bit of Soviet Union time experience for us, although it didn’t ruin the night. We still had fun time there and our own waiter was friendly the whole time. I would’ve given 4 stars for the service, but because of the angry waiter I ended up giving 2 stars and probably recommend some other place to my friends if they want to have a longer night out and not just eat good...

The place was somehow inviting, with unusual decorations. Which was both interesting and concerning cause that meant a lot of dust in the ceiling. Service could have been better. It is one good place for trying traditional Lithuanian and Baltic food, that's for sure. We were invited for dinner with a group of local acquaintances, who ordered the food and drinks for the table. The starters were tasty. But, as vegetarians, my girlfriend and I didn't have many options apart from the vegetables that came with some meat. There was also a potato dish that we could have eaten in a big place with lots of different things, but none told us it was meat-free. The national beers, on the other hand, were great! As the food was pre-ordered, we didn't have the chance to try something else, but we want to believe that there are more vegetarian/vegan options, as the information about the restaurant claims. So, it deserves the benefit of the doubt. Though with other great vegetarian options we found in the city, it will be hard to visit it a second time on...

I had a truly wonderful experience at this Lithuanian restaurant. The atmosphere is both authentic and welcoming — the staff wear traditional-style clothing, which adds a charming local touch. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and very friendly. The setting itself is special: the restaurant is in a beautiful old house with elegant architecture and classic paintings on the walls. There’s also a small garden that gives the place a calm and relaxing vibe. Smoking is not allowed in the garden (which keeps the air fresh), but there’s a designated outdoor table for those who need it. The balance of guests was perfect — not crowded, but not empty either — creating a nice, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the meal. All in all, this is a place I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic food in a cozy, unique, and truly Lithuanian environment. 🌿🍴

The serving portions are HUGE in this restaurant. If the waiter had to remind you that you might have ordered too much, then you DEFINITELY have ordered too much. The pork dish I ordered could easily have fed 4 adults. Not only did I not finish the meat, I barely touched the mash potatoes. I've never heard of beer soup before, that is, until I came here. The beer soup was excellent with just a tiny hint of alcohol that really elevates it to the next level. My favourite item here though, were the zeppelins. I could never have guessed it was made out of potatoes because it was so chewy just like glutinous rice. Also, the minced pork in the centre was excellent when paired with the potato and some gravy. That is the one dish I have craved for since I left Lithuania but sadly, there is no Lithuanian restaurant in Singapore - somebody should open one!
