So we have checked on Google the closing time, 11:00-24:00 for Saturday, for this place at 10pm on Saturday and decided to go to this place by taxi and we have arrived at 10:25pm but unfortunately the door was closed . However people still been sitting there until now. My husband gave a call to receptionist and asked did you close or not? Lady on the phone said that they are closed but my husband asked why I can see some people there through a window and she said that everyone are paid and they just waiting for them to leave. So we have checked the opening time on the door, please see picture below, and on Google and find that they must work until midnight, 12pm. Also we saw that some people tried to pay a bill so it’s meant that she lied to us. We asked her why we can’t just to drink one beer as you must work until 12pm and as other people sit there but she said that they decided to close early 😁. So please don’t come to this place without the confirmation of the opening time. It's a disgusting attitude towards customers and you can just to...
Read moreWe were not expecting much from a restaurant that looks like its part of a hotel. We still do not know if the restaurant is with the hotel, but we were surprised. First the decoration is spot-on. Looks and feels like you are in an ancient dining room, and not in an air conditioned brand new building. The side salad was like no other salad we ever tried; tingly on the tongue and tasty. After dinner we decided to share a desert: the crepes, more like pancakes on steroids, extremely thick, small and with a side of crème fraiche were a giant surprise. Very tasty! 3 tea and a cola were added to the bill and we spent €39 for good food, nice staff and fun ambiance. Oh, and do (!) visit the...
Read moreThey have great food, but do not go there.
The food was very good, portions are large so I would recommend taking a soup and main only if you are super hungry.
Atmosphere fits the menu and sort of tries to be upscale 20th century place.
The service however is also from 20th century. Only one staff member was working there at the time of our visit and we felt threatened. Our menu picks were mocked, the tone was insulting throughout the whole dinner, the dishes came out far inbetween from each other (My friend's main came probably a good half an hour earlier than mine) and no commentary was made on that. Turned out this staffer was "the manager" and while he told us it is impossible splitting up the bill for us he had no problem literally demanding a 10eur tip, which he had to type in manually into the card...
