If you’re a cat lover like me, you will fall in love with this place immediately! The Cat Cafe in Vilnius is one of the cleanest and neatest ones I have been to, especially with regards to the cats.
Before entering the main dining rooms you will be nicely introduced to the concept by the host/hostess. You must wear special baggies over the soles of your shoes as to not bring in any dirt from the outside with you, as well as wash your hands before petting any kitties.
The minimum price per person is 5€. But I must tell you that the food in the menu is fairly priced and it is absolutely worth the money. I paid 5.5€ for these fried dumplings with turkey in mushroom sauce and it was one of the most delicious ethnic foods I’ve tried so far in Lithuania. The coffee is anywhere around 2€ and it is super delicious (this one that I ordered, adorably named “Catte Latte”, was around 3€).
You’re going to get a wonderful experience if you’re looking to zone out for a couple of hours in the company of these beautiful creatures. It is visible that the cats are treated very good; they are used to all the waitresses and always groomed properly. Around 10 minutes before I left this kind of triple cat revelation took place right on my table. I’m glad I didn’t leave before that, it ended up giving me lovely photos and videos for memory.
The verdict is: you must check this place out.
Sincerely, Your fellow...
Read moreI mean... Cats. There are cats! Adorable, lovely, very aloof cats. What more can you want?
The food is amazing, the coffee was good and the atmosphere is quite chill. Great art on the walls, good music at a comfortable volume. Friendly staff. But all of that is just a happy little bonus.
The main thing being the cats!
Beware though, for those who might expect lots of cuddles and playtime, these are cats who are used to being the center of attention and so they appear to have reached their quota when it comes to human interaction. (At least when we popped in, early afternoon) They are friendly, but aloof. They might allow you to get in a brief pet or two, though for the most part, they are busy getting from one soft place to laze about, to the next.
Some lucky souls might get more attention from the feline residents, others might not see more than a whisker and a tail here and there. Your Mileage May Vary.
All in all, it is definitely worth a visit. Just.. beware the gift shop ;P So many amazing things. We left with so much stuff
Quick note: the staff are responsible for handling the cats as well, so at times, one might have to wait a bit to get in touch with an available person if the cats demand attention. This makes sense, but can be good to...

It is close to the #vilniuscaderalsquare , so you can use it for a rest stop by sightseeing. The cats don't have tired faces, so you can see that the clerk at the cafe is looking after them. There are so many different types of cats that you will never get bored. Detailed information about cats is written in catbook. * There seems to be a commitment to interior and art There was a book of art works in the store. The explanation of the character to write here is written. Here we ordered crepes, Russian specialties #kvass , Lithuanian #coldsoup and #zemaiciublynai (pancake). I'm surprised that so much is 16 euros. The crepe fabric is thick and sticky. Gold soup is a gentle taste with mellowness added to borsch. Boiled eggs go well. Even with pancakes, it contains meat. Meat goes well with sticky dough. Plenty of mushroom cream enhances the taste. There are many #souvenir at the entrance. Since the magnet system is 3 euros, it is a bargain. I bought a cat earring (11 euros).
