This cafe offers a delightful dining experience that combines comforting ambiance with above-average fare. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements: **Food While the menu presents a range of enticing options, the overall flavor profile leans towards the safe side. Each dish is executed well, showcasing quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. However, there’s a lack of standout flavors that truly elevate the dining experience. Nevertheless, the food is undoubtedly good, making it a solid choice for a satisfying meal. **Price A little bit on pricy side. **Ambiance Step inside Cafe and instantly feel embraced by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The warm tones and minimalist decor create a modern yet homely ambiance, perfect for intimate gatherings or leisurely weekends with loved ones. With its urban clean Korean/Japanese vibes, the restaurant exudes a trendy yet approachable charm that adds to the overall dining experience. **Staff & Service The hospitality at here is pleasant . The staff members are not only friendly but also exude genuine warmth, making diners feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Service is prompt and efficient, with orders delivered in a timely manner without feeling rushed. The attentive staff adds an extra layer of comfort to the dining experience, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of throughout their visit. In conclusion, this offers a pleasant dining experience that ticks the boxes for good food, cozy ambiance, and excellent service. While it may not boast bold flavors that leave a lasting impression & on a pricy sides, it certainly provides a solid option for those seeking a relaxed and enjoyable meal in a welcoming setting.

TLDR: Poor hygiene, mid food and biased 5 stars Google ratings. I don’t usually leave low ratings on Google but I felt compelled to do so after my visit here. I would say the ambience of the cafe was not too bad, brightly lit and welcoming. However, the service was almost non-existent despite the counter seats being empty and we were seated there w/o being attended to when we had entered. We ordered the popular brioche toast but it was mid. There was nothing special about the honey kaya which I believe is just normal supermarket honey (we saw the bottle of honey on the counter) mixed inside a watery kaya. There was also a housefly flying around and ants spotted. Utensils were not clean too, refer to the photo of the knife I had uploaded (it’s a little unclear but there was a huge stain on it), knife was placed together in the utensils tray given to us /: The lack of hygiene was off-putting. I had used their toilet as well and the toilet bowl seat could not even stand upright on its own and the toilet door lock was not working. What took the cake was when we saw that there is a RM5 off offered for if you give a 5 stars rating. This would explain why the cafe has really high ratings despite all the above I had listed… Pretty sure Google doesn’t allow this. Don’t think I will be back.

If you have been to Mil toast house in Korea or in Bangkok, this minimalist cafe reminds me of it with its interior and aesthetics. Was quite surprised to see that the cafe was crowded at 11am when I visited on a weekday. 😮 Decided to try their recommended steamed brioche bun which comes two sauces of your choice - I chose cream butter and honey kaya. Taste wise, I think it’s was a bit disappointing in terms of the kaya that they gave. It was a bit watery, I couldn’t really taste the fragrance of the kaya? The steam bun was soft and fluffy, though I think it didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor? Maybe should have ordered the ham and cheese bun instead 😅 The truffle mushroom pasta on the other hand was impressive though. The flavour was rich and most importantly you can taste the truffle. Their coffee was not bad. ☕️ I could taste the caramel in my coffee which is great, because sometimes the flavour isn’t quite exactly there. The tiramisu coffee was yummy too. Overall, the food wasn’t so bad. If you’re planning to come here, do try and come early to get a seat as the cafe isn’t very big as well 👍🏼

This beautiful cafe is a little out of the way from the checkpoint but worth the visit!! It’s located along a whole stretch of spanking new shops so you can take a stroll down to explore after a hearty meal here. Here’s what we got: - freshly steamed brioche bun: this was the standout for me!! The loaf was so unbearably fluffy and toasty and homely within seconds of arriving on the table it was completely picked apart. You can choose two sauces and we liked our choices; taro and yuzu! - big breakfast: as you would expect from a classic big brekkie! Especially loved the eggs, sourdough and hash brown. - chicken karaage Japanese curry omu: they do their eggs really well here! Very generous portion and the karaage was delicious.

One less star cos of price, even though food was pretty good. Steamed brioche - Original as well as Ham and cheese - comes with 2 sauces, super fluffy, soft and warming. Highly recommend! Strangely I purchased a Ham and cheese brioche for takeaway and was informed the sauces are ‘standard mayo and ketchup’. For dine in we had choice of cream cheese and Nutella among other options for example. Lamb sausage Shakshuka was pretty good.. just not very certain if tomato base is made from scratch. Flat white was surprising good, strong and hot enough. 10/10 for coffee. They serve water too 👍🏻 We didn’t have to wait for table because we went at tea time. By the way when will the toilet door locks be fixed?

Place: air-conditioned restaurant that specialises in steamed buns and other western based dishes such as soups and pasta. Service: fairly friendly when I arrived and ushered me to my seats and gave menus. Food came within 5 minutes of ordering, though its just soup thats been pre-prepared. Fast and efficient. Food: 1. Tomato soup: the sour taste of the soup compliments the crispy sour dough perfectly. Wonderful blend between broth and bread. Nice. Verdict: 4/5. Pity that I only tried 1 dish here, could guess that the bread here is their speciality and worth coming back for seconds if I'm craving for bread.
