My number one go-to place for fish head noodles. One very unexpected thing of this place is that even in 2023, their most basic fried fish head noodle still cost RM9 for one bowl. Compared to some other fish head noodles out there that goes for like RM12 a bowl, the food portion of the RM12 bowl sometimes can't even beat this RM9 fish head noodles! Bravo to the family that run this awesome place. 👍That being said, is value the only thing this place has to offer? Definitely not. Despite having the lower price point, you'd be surprised to learn how good their noodles actually is. The soup, very flavourful soup, it's the kind of soup that you would find yourself sipping even after you are done with the noodles. Customer may choose whether or not they want milk added into the soup but seriously, both are great. As for the main star of the show, the fried fish meat, it's unbelievably crispy, even if you dip it into the soup, it's still really good in its own way. The meat are fried to perfection to the point even the thinner bones are edible. Highly recommend choosing mee hun to go with the fish. One thing I would like to mention is that the staffs at the place are really friendly, the environment is really good as well after they moved into the food court and it's easy to find parking spot if you don't mind parking outside...
Read moreWhile the food is 6/10, service is weird/rude. Broth is 7/10 Fried fish is 5/10, they are fried crispy if you like them that way then you'll like it. For me, while wangi (fragrant), can't tell what fish nor if the fish is fresh nor what kind. Fish ball is below average, 4/10. Too rubbery, too much additive. The bee hoon biasa (nothing special). They add lots of finely chopped deep fried garlic, overpowering if you don't like. Luckily I still enjoy it.
Now comes the weird: Guy counting/collecting money changed sum after he stated and I paid him. $1 more. Then he keeps coming back and counting, over and over ... Then ask for another $10, later while we're eating, give me back $1... Super weird.
Here's the rude: We sat chit chat as most Malaysians do after meal. Not even 15 mins ah soh (aunty) came over ask if we need to order drinks (already finished and paid for drinks). She told us to leave. This is while there are empty tables next to us. What da heil...

Read moreThe fish noodle is way over rated. The soup is merely pickled veg and added with some garlic oil, parsley and a pathetic slice of tomato. Their fried fish is a no go judging from the look of it, the fish was fried over past golden brown. (probably using the same oil over and over). The only saving grace is they do offer add ons like squid and prawns (to cloud your taste buds). Service is fast and no surprise to that considering what was cooked. Fish portion is half a small fish (pompret). You would expect fish broth, cooked using the bones (wishful thinking). Food is not of quality, way below average. In fact, they are not memorable and...
