This must be one fabulous foreign dining experience for me here in KK City, for I had wonderful Iftar or songkai w fellow friends. I love how this was a smooth transition for us, from booking to the table service. Our booking went great when the restaurant themselves recommended us choices and what's great on the menu, especially for me as a newcomer. They even let us know to order our meals as early as we can during the season. The place has the fast food vibe but merging into their Egyptian culture, having 3 kinds of seatings, outdoor, indoor and on the floor w designated cubicle. Their menu, let's try them all, price ranging from RM10 above for good meal, while RM6 for side dishes. Gosh I could not resist their hummus, something that I enjoy having eversince my UNI time. Oo this is important infor, but we had FREE non alcoholic Barbican BEERS. This Is truly psychedelic. I just love the vibrant atmosphere, even during Iftar there were bunch of Non Muslim that gathered around to enjoy the food.. Oo and I love how the staffs actually sang & chanted dhikir etc while cleaning the premise.. What a great experience, definitely a must

Had the Kebab Platter for 2, RM69, Hummus RM7, Egyptian Mint Tea (Hot) RM5, Burak RM12.99 and Lamb Hawashi RM24.99. Love the Hummus, delicious to be eaten with bread 😋. Egyptian Mint Tea was sweet and refreshing 👍🏼 The beef kebab on the platter was a bit dry, same goes as the chicken on salad. Wish it was served hot. The chicken kebab was nice. Beef soup was subtle. Burak was a mix of mushrooms, meat, mixed vege and potatoes. Tasty, can get a bit peppery. The Lamb Hawashi filling kinda taste like a tomato based sauce. Love the crispy part of the pita, but it wasn't overall crispy. Yeast smell a bit pungent. E-wallet payment is available.

If a tiny glass of sand tasting alike coffee that cost RM 10 doesn't mess with you. Their unfresh, stone hard, diabetic RM 8 each Baklawa will surely get you! Even their main course chicken dishes that comes with cucumber and carrot nearly choke mi to my grave. You really need to pour all their chillies into digestion because the meat are stale and plain. Fortunately, all the dishes are served fast and at least they feed you with a lot of rice so you won't be that angry. 😡 When you are done with it, you can always visit their surau room to defecate while they whip you with exorbitant payment costs. One thing for sure, I won't be coming back!

Pretty surprised that I wasn't aware of an Egyptian eatery in KK. Got excited as I enjoyed eating middle eastern food back when I was studying in India, literally the best comfort food there is 😭

❤️The falafel wrap was a tad bit too dry unfortunately.. though I must say the filling was quite a generous portion. However, the bread itself was way too thick to what I'm used to having.. tasted more like home cooked food one of my friend's mother used to make.

❤️Lamb shawarma with the bukhari rice was amazing. Instantly brought me back to uni days..

❤️Baklava & chicken hawawshi, both decent. Just like the wrap, these are home cooked food quality. And that in itself I find charming. If you're not quite into sweets, would suggest to buy one and share it :)

Overall, ⭐⭐⭐ stars. Loads more room for...

No other words but praise. The staff and owner is friendly, and hospitable. They're always checking in if everything is fine and if the food is alright.

I enjoyed myself and the experience they've provided especially the many variety of the middle east cuisine. The Lamb Shank is juicy, delicious and tender. Easily my best pick.

If you have the chance, do try the Malt Beverages (either a Strawberry or Pineapple). If you want something more normal, lemon flavor tastes like shandy.

The desserts are nice. I don't remember what it's called but the rice dessert is nice. Almost like tapai Manis. Surprisingly, it helps alot with the bloat you feel after a heavy dinner.

Go give it a try. They're in good delivery service as well, so...
