First of all, I want to apologize if any of my comments have offended anyone. This is simply a reflection of my personal experience at the restaurant. Today, a few friends and I visited the restaurant for lunch. One of my friends ordered a plate of sushi and found two strands of hair inside it. The waiter was quick to resolve the issue by replacing the sushi with a new plate.

Later, two more friends arrived. One of them ordered "stir-fried ramen" and specifically requested chicken only, as she is allergic to seafood. We informed the waiter about the seafood allergy, and she told us that the stir-fried ramen typically comes with seafood but suggested we could simply separate it. We were speechless at the suggestion, but reluctantly agreed.

However, a short while later, we overheard some staff members laughing and discussing our order, questioning why we insisted on separating the seafood. We were shocked to hear this. We then approached another waiter, who appeared more experienced, and explained that our original request was to have the ramen cooked with chicken only, not to separate the seafood from the dish. We also mentioned that it was the previous waiter who suggested separating the seafood, which caused confusion.

The more experienced waiter immediately apologized and arranged for the kitchen to prepare a new dish, understanding the seriousness of my friend's seafood allergy. We appreciated her prompt response and care, especially since we also explained that my friend is pregnant, and we couldn’t afford any risk to her or the baby.

The climax of the situation occurred when the noodles arrived, and they had a strong smell, almost as if they had been stir-fried with alcohol. At first, we thought it might just be a lot of ginger, which could explain the alcohol-like aroma. However, after a few bites, my pregnant friend still felt uneasy. Concerned, we asked a waiter whether the dish had been cooked with any alcohol, and she assured us that no alcohol was used in any of their food. Trusting the waiter’s reassurance, my friend decided to take a few more bites. But, trusting her instincts as a mother, she decided to stop eating.

After leaving the restaurant, my friend still felt uncomfortable, so her husband called the restaurant to double-check. The waiter told him that they typically use alcohol only in their beef dishes. After checking the kitchen, they discovered that alcohol had, in fact, been used in the stir-fried noodles we had ordered. This raised several concerns. Why did the waiter tell us there was no alcohol in any of the food? Why didn’t they verify the ingredients when we asked? And who would be responsible if something had happened to the baby?

This is their first pregnancy after years of waiting, so it's understandable they would be extra cautious. Why would the restaurant use cooked alcohol in the dish when they were already informed that my friend was pregnant? Following the incident, my friend immediately contacted her gynecologist, who advised against returning to that restaurant. It was incredibly disappointing.

On a side note, we didn’t finish the noodles. We decided to take the dish to go, just in case anything happened to the baby, so we would have proof of...

Had dinner here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. She flew back from Taiwan and made this reservation more than a month in advance. Sadly, this place gave us one of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We called ahead to inform them we’d be 20 mins late. Instead of a basic “noted,” the lady who answered the phone went, “Hahhh?? Almost 8PM?!” real professional 🙂. Thankfully, after one of us calmly and firmly explained, she changed her tone and agreed not to release the table.

Food came quickly and was good. That’s the only positive thing we can say.

But everything after that was a DISASTER:

Pressed the call button three times for a drink refill. NO ONE CAME. Had to walk across the restaurant to find staff.

Waited almost 10 minutes for our birthday cake. In that time, multiple staff opened the curtain to our “VIP room” to peek in, like they forgot guests were still there.

One staff even walked into the next VIP room to play Mobile Legends loudly. WHAT A JOKE

Staff clearing our plates looked confused. One kept singing and looked shocked to see us still there when she peeked in. (MIND U WE WERE WAITING FOR OUR CAKE OK) (Also, we would have left earlier if someone came to serve us the came but instead they chose to waste our time🙂 Still charge us 10% service tax? 🙂

When we finally confronted a staff about the poor service, she gave excuses like, “We’re short-staffed,” and “The runner handles everything from Section A to B.”

It felt like the team was more focused on deflecting blame than actually managing the situation professionally.

We then spoke to the team captain. I could tell he wanted to handle things, but clearly didn’t have the tools or team support to do so. I even apologised to him for my outburst and told him he’d understand if he were in our shoes. He was respectful, sincere and the only staff who actually listened.

Because things were going nowhere, we requested the supervisor’s number (she was off duty), called her ourselves, and made it clear we didn’t want a half assed apology or a voucher. We had no intention of returning. We wanted them to understand how unacceptable the experience was from start to end.

They refunded our service tax in cash and honestly, that felt like damage control to avoid voiding any transaction that might raise flags with management.

We were told the VIP room required a minimum spend of RM400 and we spent RM503. We expected better. Much better.

This restaurant might serve decent food, but the staff training, attitude, and service quality are nowhere near acceptable especially at this premium price point. For a premium-looking place, the experience felt worse than a pasar malam. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I’m posting this to raise awareness for other customers who might face the same treatment. I spoke up and insisted on settling this because I genuinely want the management to learn from it. I don’t want this to be quietly swept under the rug. Other customers deserve better and this kind of service shouldn’t...

Visited this place recently, and overall, the food was just average—not worth the price and fell short of expectations.

While there was a hygiene issue, it was resolved promptly, so I won’t comment further on that.

However, the service was disappointing. We asked a waitress if it was possible to substitute chicken for the seafood in the stir-fried ramen, as one of us has a seafood allergy. Her response was that we, as friends, could simply remove the seafood ourselves. This was unacceptable—it’s not just a matter of preference; it’s a serious food allergy. Mixing seafood into the dish poses a health risk and shows a lack of understanding about food allergies.

Additionally, my pregnant sister was with us, so we were cautious about the ingredients in our order. When we asked a staff member if the dish contained wine or alcohol, we were assured it didn’t. However, we were certain it did, so we asked another staff member, who confirmed that the dish did contain alcohol.

If staff are unsure about the ingredients, they should consult someone more knowledgeable instead of giving incorrect information. We ask because it matters—it could have serious consequences.

Please ensure your staff are properly trained before allowing them to serve customers. This level of service needs...

I love the Japanese vibe giving when I dine in this restaurant. Their indoor seating is decorated with a bit gardeny touch and there's huge anime figurine you can take picture too! It is lively! In terms of food serving, it may takes a while if you dine in around 7pm to 8pm (peak hour). But the services wise is good! And the foods? It is remarkably delicious and especially on the sushi price is quite affordable too! They have various of dishes to choose from too. It may take a while to decide if you're first time here.. I recommend you check out their menu so you could decide fast and order, as the food preparation gonna takes some time especially on peak hour. They do have lucky draw to win every week, where you need to leave your contact details at the receipt to participate. But sadly the cashier didn't mention this to me during making payment for our dinner until I come across their Instagram post. The hot matcha latte is nice too! I can say this is my no. 1 Japanese restaurant in KK to dine in for.

Came in to the restaurant on a weekday afternoon after the usual lunch time and it was really nice. I am pleasantly surprised at the interior, a nice , and welcoming looking restaurant and it does have a cozy feeling to it. You would also appreciate it if you are an anime fan. They have a number of menus and I took the longest time to decide on what to have so you might want to check out their offerings in advance if you have the same problem as me. However once ordered, the food came within an acceptable timeframe. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are quite large. If you are a big eater, you would appreciate this as well. As for the price, I think it matches the food. So no complaints here. I would recommend to drop in during off peak hours if you can. This place also looks like it would be a nice place to go for celebrating your loved ones. Ps I also got a RM5 voucher for my next visit
