DCH Seafood (Kepayan) — Restaurant in Borneo

Good place to eat in kota kinabalu. It is clean, the toilet is clean, the whole restaurant looks clean and comfortable. The food are ok, fried chicken is delicious, the kangkung belacan is good but sometime the standard will drop. This kangkung belacan finally can find someone who can cook like west malaysia style, I'm so glad if I miss the taste I dont have to fly back to west malaysia to eat. The taste dont know why somehow will taste different sometime.. there is another restaurant in sabah who can cook like this taste too, and taste better.. text me if you'd like to know.

Let's talk back about this restaurant, the curry fish head - their fishes are always fresh, i believe they don't keep their stock long, and their purchasing must be everyday go pick some nice fishes. Their curry fish head cook just well done, the meat wont taste overcooked, but their curry is unique, their own taste. Can say about one of a best in kk, but not best in Malaysia. Every chef must have their own recipe, it is not easy to satisfy everybody's taste. Their prawn are nice, they got the technique how to cook good prawns, and squids too.

One thing to comment about the price. Price definitely not cheap, yes if you are looking for a cheaper price you wont come here. The reason you come here is for their cleaningness, comfortable place for dinner n lunch, and the environment. Their Chinese tea costs rm2.80/glass.....watch out this. Other than this the rest...

Having dinner with family around 8pm. Ordered and food arriving a bit late around 9pm. One of the food (bitter gout salted egg) arrive a bit cold. Still fine, food is good. However, it’s around 8:30-9pm We keep hearing someone drilling upstairs, assuming renovation in progress. We can understand, CNY is around the corner, u guys are meeting deadline to complete things. Customer service should have the courtesy to advise customers not to sit indoor because the loud noise. Hv Informed the captain, without I even finished my sentence, off she rush outside( assuming to tell whoever to stop drilling) Renovation stopped after a min or so. Nobody come to us n tell what happened. No feedback Maybe they assume the noise stop and they don’t bother to explain anymore.

All I’m asking We pay for the food U charge us for service tax U guys has been one of the star in KK. Food still good 👍 At least have the courtesy to inform customers that they will be something going on in the building that might make us uncomfortable if we prefer indoor.

Business is good n very well However, pls don’t left out small details that make a big difference in progressing

From a hidden gem when they first opened last year to a super popular neighborhood joint today, Delicious Curry House is the place to go if you want a hearty comforting meal with a group of family or friends. They are always packed during lunch and dinner time, hence reservation is always recommended.

I especially loved how they are not tied to a specific cuisine, but instead focuses on using a variety of spices on top of fresh ingredients to push out a limited yet well crafted food offering.

I have visited this place numerous times and it is consistently good 8-9 out of 10 times which is pretty amazing, as a lot of you might know the challenges of serving food using fresh ingredients.

Food is cooked to order, no pre-cooked/combi oven food like many other high volume restaurants, hence there might be a wait if there is a huge crowd. Then again, I'd rather wait for freshly cooked food more so than having pre-cooked food which doesn't taste as good.
