Leslie Cafe 敬文茶餐厅 — Restaurant in Borneo

Recent 2 trip to this restaurant is very disappointing,as now required to take numbers & the lady in charge is super rude, her look, her eyes, everything, I need ask her 4 times only she gave me a number maybe because I'm only one eating. The loud music make even worst, with the voice announcing number is vague, can't hear a thing, waited 45 minutes still no clue what number there're calling! I have to repeatedly ask her what number was called, I got fed up and went off frustrated! Second time came here, everything the same! I waited 15 min and went to the next shop which greeted me politely and showed me an empty table. So I realised this restaurant only preferred China guests more than the locals, I used to go there occasionally before and doesn't encounter such treatment. We came here twice. The first time was our first dinner in KK. There was a long queue. We queue using wechat for about 30minutes. when we got a seat, an uncle came and introduced some food to us and it all tasted so good. Salted egg crab especially and their tofu . Yummm! Vege was great. Everything was great. Coconut water was young and the flesh are so good. But the second time we came, it was just before our flight on a weekday afternoon... there was no queue at all but i feel the quality of the food is not as good as the first time we came. we changed a few dishes but still kept the tofu and salted egg crab. the sotong taste too salty.. vegetable is acceptable. not sure if the sotong is so salty to match with the tourist taste bud as recently there are many china tourists there for...

It was honestly a really bad experience especially for the locals. You gotta use WeChat to get queue number. Our table was given to someone else even though our number was called.

Had to wait to order, and other tables were able to order first even though we got our table first. The lady was super rude when we wanted to order, she didn’t even want to accept our order and asked her other staff to take our order instead.

Food took really long time to be served and the dishes were cold, didn’t even taste that great.

Lastly, they served the wrong dish and asked if we want to just take it as cooking the correct dish will take another 10 mins.
