Kedai Kopitiam Lepak Sama Nanyang Cafe — Restaurant in Borneo

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I can say that the food they serve is delicious. I originally wanted to buy chicken black pepper rice but the waitress came to me, and said, "The rice will take about 15 minutes to cook."

I was disappointed since I didn't get to try one of their main dishes but I appreciated her honesty to come forward and tell me about the kitchen's current situation. I had a morning shift at work so I didn't have the time to wait. I gladly made the switch to order chicken floss bread instead. It was so packed ordering for breakfast which is a good indication of how well their food is. My aunt had laksa and told me she wanted to savour every bite since it was that good.

Their service is efficient and quite fast. Everything ran smoothly despite the packed situation of the restaurant. What I also like is their friendly attitude towards incoming customers. All of them would greet, "Hi, welcome!" at each incoming customer. That was my first time being in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for a restaurant.

The interior of this kopitiam is like the typical kopitiam style. I feel that they could improve the design aspect but that's just my tea. As a general public, I feel that the interior design is just fine. Not too overwhelmingly beautiful and not underwhelming as well.

Sunday morning, datang 7.45am, luar dan dalam masih banyak seat kosong. Food preparation around 5-10mins. Perkerja friendly yet very professional. Makanan sedap. Especially mantau. Nda pernah terfikir mantau makan with chicken floss😁. Roti mantau pun lembut. Kaya Toast, kaya pandan with sliced of butter, yummy as usual. Hainan special toast, perfect combo with peanut butter, sliced of butter and pandan kaya. Lepak mee with fried wantan. The noodle is different from mee kolok, yet soo good. Esp with dried sambal belacan. Lepak mee special is the best because that shredded chicken with red oil, is the boom. I requested lepak kopi, hot and kurang manis. Soooo good. Very kopitiam oldskool kopi flavour. Lepak hot milk tea also good. Just like mamak teh tarik. By this time, the restaurant already packed. Full house from outside to inside and upstairs. 🚹Toilet ok. Clean and water pressure ok heheheh Harga berpatutan and affordable. Pada yang nak datang sini, if u can come early for breakfast, better datang awal. Incase u datang and seated, dont worry about waitng your food that take might be a bit too long, but it's worth it and satisfied...

Recently visited Kopitiam Lepak Sama and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service and an authentic atmosphere that made me feel like I was stepping into a traditional local spot. The coffee here is fantastic – strong, aromatic, and perfectly brewed. Paired with their signature toast and soft-boiled eggs, it's a breakfast that hits the spot every time.

The menu offers a wonderful variety of local dishes, each bursting with flavor. I tried Laksa Sarawak and their wantan,I was blown away by how fresh and satisfying it was. You can really taste the care they put into each dish.
