I’m giving it 4-star for the overall experience and based on other people’s food, not mine šŸ˜† I’m a big fan of polo bun. Ever since I had the polo bun at Oriental Kopi in KL, I've been searching for a good one in KK but sadly I haven’t found any that matches Oriental Kopi, maybe I’m biased. This polo bun is completely different from what I expected. I think it’s steamed rather than baked, I’m not sure. It’s a good size, it’s huge! Flavours are nice actually, not toooo sweet and I could taste butter. But the texture is off to me. It’s not crispy at all. Maybe other people might like it but not me. However, the plus points: good variety of options. I think it’s going for the Nanyan Kopitiam style but with a Sabahan twist, they feature all the local noodles like Kota Belud mee etc. Many customers ordered that and it looked good! The lady boss at the cashier is friendly and patient, the environment is clean. Well decorated for a kopitiam. I’d come back to try other dishes. Hope they can improve their polo buns though!

Take away two kon lou noodles with duck , ask in advanced ( before make my payment) if request soup kosong , are they free ? They said yes . Once received , they only pack one soup kosong for me . They explained later on : if want two soup kosong need pay extra . HELLO!!!!???? What kind of theory is this ? Two noodles is for two different ppl, two different location. How u want them to share. I don’t mind if they tell me in advanced . I can pay , or just ignored it. Dishonest store just want customer to make payment and order , later on change their own style of pattern. Honestly la, I ordered the duck really don’t mind to add few ringgit for the soup kosong if tell in advanced. The duck dish not cheap too. Tidak pandai buat business la pls, soup kosong pun mau bikin kedekut. Not coming anymore.

Small neighbourhood eatery that has some popular dishes paired with roast pork / char siew. Friends and I had Nasi Lemak paired with a plate of roast meats, a roast pork topped curry chee cheong fun, a roast pork in polo bun ā€œburgerā€ and some incredibly delicious walnut biscuits! All the food items were reasonably good. I’d say a 4/5 star quality. The hidden gem here, and why I have given a 5 star rating, is their walnut biscuits! Buy! Buy! Buy! One of the tastiest walnut biscuits I have eaten in quite awhile. Unfortunately forgot to take pics of the ā€œburgerā€ and biscuits.

Ordering system: menu items are coded but still need to go counter order and pay directly.

Waiter: some part-time staff need proper training. Serve food but no etiquette. Just throw the plate on the table while standing as far as possible from the table extending the hand to put the plate down. Are you implying something to avoid from your customers?

Food: asked for Fried Rice. NASI goreng but served with 80% fried BERAS. Topping ingredients clearly stated on the bill are still wrongly prepared by the kitchen.

Only getting 1 star and not 0 bcoz carried hard by the cashier lady fast n...
