Famous thai restaurant in town for many many years. This is my first time trying, but to be honest the food quality is less than my expectation even though the place is full of customers and we had to queue to get in. ๐Ÿ˜…

I ordered tom yam mihun for myself which i think is quite nice (but doesnt feel authentic).

Pad thai for my popoโ€ฆ but that tasted very very bad. It was too sweet, feels like eating dessert. My sister ordered another fried rice which i forgot the name, but that was obnoxious as well. To the point that she doesnโ€™t even want to finish it albeit being very hungry.

However, the thai style chicken feet and pandan chicken is delicious ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. Also, their service is good and the chinese tea are refillable. They also serve cendol desserts for free after we finish eating.

So yeahโ€ฆ maybe some dishes are great. But some definitely arent. Price is slightly on the higher side too. Rm102 for 1 each of pad thai, pandan chicken, chicken leg, fried rice and three...

We dined in on a Saturday night and patrons all came in families. Deco was minimally Thai-themed but restaurant atmosphere was still pleasant. Menu was considerably extensive and varied. Good thing the menu came with abundant pictures.

Food came quickly after we ordered, wait staff were polite. Food quality was above good with ingredients fresh and Thai flavours present. I personally enjoyed the Kai Jeow and fishcakes. I made the mistake of being satisfied with the portion of rice scooped initially by the waitress. No harm in requesting 'a little more' as all dishes go very well with rice.

The cendol dessert was a pleasant surprise, it was well executed. The satisfaction after the meal was there. Only one pet peeve, the wait staff tends to immediately clear the plates after the meal. Perhaps the experience could have been better if it was done only after we have already left.

Overall, a meal at Nok Thai is a glimpse of the rich delights of the...

Absolutely horrendous and disappointing. We ordered (through WhatsApp, which they did not check or respond. I had to call after 30 mins to remind them to check their WhatsApp) pineapple fried rice, chicken pad thai, pandan chicken and thai green chicken curry.

First of all, nothing tasted fresh. I asked for chicken pad thai and got no chicken and a few tiny very unfresh prawns. Noodles were really soggy and all stuck together. No pad thai flavour whatsoever. Threw 90% of it away.

Pandan chicken was just a bunch of huge mushy chicken pieces wrapped messily in pandan leaves. Zero pandan flavour. All we could taste was some garlic paste smeared on the chicken.

Pineapple fried rice and thai green chicken curry were edible but nowhere near good. Again, nothing tasted fresh at all. Comes with some cendol as dessert.

Very very disappointing, paid nearly RM150 for all this. Don't understand how it's...

Cendol is the best. Better than those in Penang.
