Poor customer service, salty beef burger.. Not worth the overprice menu... Charge service tax for what if poor customer service.

I came to discuss important issue with my colleague here as he ask to come to this cafe. Apparently this male staff was really unhelpful. Saw me carrying a lot of plates and glass cup but he not even help in carrying plain water. I tried to pour water there so i dont have to carry plate, glasscup n bottle glass with my limited hand but he said bring everything to ur table...what an ignorant staff.. No empathy to help carry one glass... I ask for sauce for burger he said take urself while he is free doing nothing act like a boss😆 so stringent to assist customer... even he saw that my hands are full. Almost break the glass.. He came to tell me to leave table around 640pm while im suffering to finish my burger as its too salty.. he told me ONLY they will be closed at 7 pm not to 3 other customers.. Selective maybe..

Last I came here when they had robot to serve customer that time the customer service was good and explained well in term of menu but this time very bad.. I regret to come here.. Water pressure at sink to clean hand also very low unable to clean hand properly.. Burger was extra salty at certain part probably patty was not even properly mix when the made it.. For rm29 u only received burger small size and fries .. Ask for sauce he said go take urself.. Such calculative even i oredy ask for chili sauce earlier when oredering..

Hot chocolate was ok.. But now i will ban this cafe forever..there is saying if ur restaurant provide bad food, but u provide good service people will still come but in ur case u do the risk calculation.. Place looks very simple from the outside but upon entry looks warm and inviting. Has music playing helps create the atmosphere and I thought that the décor on the walls is a good idea with books, small pot plants and coffee beans. Restaurant also have a small shop selling various items. A bonus about this place is the free WIFI. I ordered their coffee (flat white) which was very good, beans were delicious and their barista is quite skilled, nicely made and flower pattern on the coffee which only good baristas can do. I went for their beef burger but was anxious because I was craving for a burger. Presentation was ok, chips was room temperature but tasty - taste like peri peri chips from Nandos. The burger was a good surprise as it was juicy and fresh. Meat cooked perfectly for a burger, never thought that a burger can taste this good for a restaurant in Kota Kinabalu which is more famous for Asian cuisine. Bun was soft and fresh which is how brioche should be. The kids creamy pasta was saturated in sauce which is not normal for a white sauce pasta dish like this but it was actually quite delicious. My daughter loved it. Would definitely return if I wanted a burger or try their chefs special - the lamb burger. Would have preferred if the plates of food came together or at least a couple of minutes apart but they came out at irregular intervals.
