GlenCove Villa — Hotel in Borneo

I recently stayed at GlenCove villa from 3/8/24 to 6/8/24. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant due to several significant issues.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there was dust on the furniture.

there was no running water in the property. This made it impossible to shower, use the bathroom facilities, or even wash our hands. We contacted the host immediately, but the issue was not resolved throughout our stay. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and discomfort.

Not having water significantly impacted our stay, as basic hygiene and comfort were compromised, which is not what we expected when booking this home stay.

Overall, my stay at Glencove Villa was a nightmare. I strongly advise others to avoid this property until major improvements are made. The poor conditions and lack of basic amenities made it a deeply uncomfortable and...

Worst stay ever. Home condition is so bad. No proper cleaning at all. Feet became black when u walk around the house. Room 1 (supposed to be the best room) toilet is super disgusting. Shower halfway no water, shower stand collapse , drain hole cover came out… (I already put the drain hole cover back in the picture imagine the cover is lifted up and u can see all the dirty things down the drainage…happens to other rooms too. We came with 28 ppl! They managed to accomodate for all. Isolated but still close to town. They provide towel, hair dryer, even snacks for us. Enough car park for 6 cars! Not a good idea to come here after climbing Mount Kinabalu with the sore muscles. There's 3 floors, 2 flights of stairs. They even have single rooms, double, & triple!
