Secret Recipe — Restaurant in Borneo

Went here yesterday for a mini birthday celebration. We ordered the lunch set for 3 that comes with assorted soft drinks you can choose.

Honestly food was superb though I would like to comment on a few things.

Spaghetti was NOT al dente. It was a little bit soft and almost overcooked. Fish was NOT hot enough when served and it got soggy real fast compared to my last fish and chips dinner at Shanghai Airport 1950. No complaints on the Curry Mee. Might be too spicy for some.

Service was honestly slow. The staffs were inattentive at times and some were playing with their phone while working which is a no-no if you’re in the FnB industry.

Very pricey for what you can get elsewhere with a higher quality meal so that means you’re paying for the experience and brand and not so much on the food.

Ambience was good but some corners can get a little bright due to cars parking on the other side...

Ordered 6.47pm, food arrived around 7.30pm. My dad's dish was the last, there were 4 of us. Bandung selasih, the staff told me no selasih, still go on with the drink? Ok sure, I jokingly said, still same price? Since your selasih bandung becomes normal bandung only, she said nooo... Then another staff came said, no more glass, need to use plastic cup, okay fine. Then the drinks came, all 4 taste diff, diff colors, inconsistent, and it cost rm7.70 per glass. So bland, even mamak stalls bandung taste better seriously.

I went back SR twice just for the Grepek rice. First imago, no stock. Yesterday, city mall, still no stock. Disappointed.

Came here for a dinner meal. Everything was okay but not the service from the staffs. Had to look and kept calling the staffs until the noticed us for an order. Also, i was trying to order some soup but somehow the soup didnt have 1 ingredient due to no stock, and the server was trying to explain to me but i quite didnt understand anything at all like i think the manager or the supervisor should give a training more to the servers the way they approach and explain some information to the customers.
