173 Ramen & Chicken Rice Shop — Restaurant in George Town

The lady who sale the hainam rice is so rude. I got there alone to eat and take away. So i seat in the table of 4, and then this lady told me to move to a smaller table so i move. I didn’t know it wad the different lady from the hainam. She sold coffee and the drinks. When the hainam lady send my orders so i told her i moved, she yelled at me like i’m her daughter and done something bad!! I can’t barely swallow the food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE AND MANNERS IF YOU ARE OPENING A RESTAURANT!!

FYI i just got here coz the resto next door is closed, my mistake still eat...

We order pork porridge, siobak rice with wontoon soup.

The pork porridge was huge portion, plenty minced meat inside, and have a nice fragrant.

The siobak meat was so tender, just the skin not crispy, but taste good. The rice also taste good, more dry and not too oily.

The wontoon meat also nice, just bit plain for the soup, need to mixed our own salt inside.

Total our foods and 2 drinks cost only 20ringgit. Still quite good price...

Ramen koay teow tng just so so. Nothing special. Ramen just normal and below par. Soup base a bit too salty to my liking. Ingredients with 3 fishballs, chicken slices, minced pork and vege. Fishball was special and similar to Pitt Street koay teow tng stall (located at Carnarvon street). I would not recommend to put ramen into koay teow tng as it wasn't...
