Came for lunch at around 12.30noon. several options available like the beef noodle soup, Hong kong style chicken/duck noodles and rice, char koay teow and one fried noodles stall I have tried the char koay teow and also beef noodle soup. Beef is tender, beef tendon is soft and quite nice. Broth has no strong beefy flavour. In fact a little diluted. The portion is adequate. Price is reasonable for its portion. The char koay teow has nice wok hei, but it is not oily enough (a bit dry) and even the prawns are looking dry, and not springy. Overall, the taste is okay, Ventilation is fair.
Parking is quite tricky...
Read moreAll the hot dishes we ordered for dinner tastes good. Old school style well-maintained. However, we are not so happy as the price for dishes is not listed (S/M/L), like up to the boss to quote after the meal. Portion is small compared to the price. Boss not respecting request of customer's choice of dishes size (they decide for customers). It surprised us too that they don't serve chinese tea, but wanted customers to order individual drinks. We hope they can improve on their service attitude to attract the return...
Read moreDefinitely better than the O O Cafe, Canarvon St. Soup wholesome, koay teow tasty and meat is cooked just right. Tendon is soft. Only complaint is (like other food stalls) quantity of food is getting less. Not my eyesight, bro. It's true. I would rather pay more for generous portions. Still can't compare with Parit Buntar beef koay teow!
N.B. Kopitiam is shut Mondays and the beef koay teow stall is shut Tuesdays. In effect, you can only eat beef koay teow there...
