It's was the worst restaurant I had ever came across in my life in Penang. Like reviews mentioned, dishes is mainly not even warm, not really fresh and not delicious as a penangite, I am shameful the food in this restaurant food stand worse than any other state that had the worst taste of foods.

Other reviews, like services, also I had never seen serving even sharks fins they do even know it basic to serve with pepper although there is vinegar. I don't blame those mynamar workers as they may know know sharks fin was always goes along with pepper. Worst, even the local woman staff, say I am the only one who ask for pepper. That's really boils up my blood, if like I was asking something not relevant at. I had never been such arrangant staff. Even if so, I am the only customer ask for pepper for the sharks fin, it's a basic knowledge for ppl to serve pepper with sharks fin. It's only that the other customers did ask for it, from this restaurant does not mean I am telling lies, and does not means there is no such things for sharks fin to go along with pepper. Totally outrageous for that local staff women to tell me this way. It makes me think that she was like a mountain tortoise, even never heard of sharks fin usually need to goes along with peppers, is like half boil egg with no pepper and soya sauce. It's totally an insult for saying such thing to a customer.

The screenshot with the pepper in the small bowl is actually requested, then only they took it from their kitchen other wise, they don't even care to give. So ridiculous, sharks fin don't serve along with peppers. Screw up, stuborn and blame customer. Sharks fin don't go along with peppers and I am the only customer using peppers for sharks fin.

Just like another review say, pay money to get angry.

Next time I will screenshot those restaurants I ate sharks fin and load into this review. I had eaten so many sharks fin in so many restaurants, and this only crazy restaurant with local staff to have the nerve to tell me that sharks fin don't go along with pepper. I am the first customer she heard of. Truly unbelievable on what really happen to local...

This restaurant is tucked away on a small road beside a flat, making it a hidden gem for those in the know. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, offering something for everyone. The food is generally acceptable in taste, though many dishes feature a prominent oyster sauce flavor. Despite this, the overall taste remains quite good.

Prices here are reasonable, and the portion sizes are satisfactory. However, the environment can be quite hot, as there is no air conditioning. While there are many fans, they don't quite keep the place cool enough, especially during hotter days. The service time for dishes is acceptable when it's not peak season, ensuring you won't have to wait too long for your meal.

This restaurant is a good option for both lunch and dinner, providing a dining experience that's becoming rare these days. Its combination of reasonable prices, decent food, and a variety of choices makes it a worthwhile spot to visit, even if the setting can...

Very bad the atmosphere super hot with a lot ppl like sardine in a space which is not well air ventilated

Not really super cheap like mention by fb kol I do agree it is slightly cheaper a few ringgit than outside for each dish

However the waiting time is super long more than 40 mins in a closed space which is not well ventilated and there is only wall fan and stand fan around with the wok hei from the cooking . The place is super hot.

the food is so so only even after waiting patiently for 40 mins at such terrible condition. The teppan chicken is not even hot and not even sizzling. A very best way to say for the food is like me doing my assignment last minute just aiming to pass.haha.

Parking is super hard at the roadside. The foreign worker who take order for water is super not friendly. U hv to ask a few time only they will take ur order.

There's still better...

Mother-in-law recommended this place, a secluded kampung style place near Air Itam Sunday night market and Hui Yin Seh. My first impression wasn't really good due to the environment. The dining area was stuffy, and you ended up smelling like the dishes. I would opt for outdoor seati, g but then there is the mosquito factor. Other than the environment, the food indeed is good and reasonably priced. See photos. The stir fry money-vege was unexpectedly tasty. The shark fin egg, potato leaves sambal and claypot tofu were good as well. Noticed the place has a steady flow of customers on weekends, it's recommended to make reservations ahead. High chance we will be back again for the food, would like to try their yam ring which was sold out during my visit. But I do hope they improve on the ventilation and air-conditioning.
