K Pot Fusion in Tanjung Tokong is a cozy and inviting Korean café that offers a satisfying dining experience for anyone who enjoys Korean flavours. This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the food and service. The ambiance is modern yet comfortable, with a clean layout that makes it a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

I ordered the kimchi fried rice, and it turned out to be exceptionally delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked — neither too soft nor too dry — and had a rich, well-balanced flavour with just the right amount of spice and tanginess from the kimchi. Topped with a fried egg that was crisp on the outside but beautifully oozing with yolk inside, it completed the dish perfectly.

The side dishes served alongside were also enjoyable, adding variety and texture to the meal. The fried chicken stood out — crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned — with a nice selection of dipping sauces that made it even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of being served Korean tea without even asking; it complemented the meal nicely and added to the authenticity.

The attitude of the cashier was extremely rude and lacking in manners. I am concerned about how such service can compete with other restaurants. Upon entering the establishment, I approached the cashier with the intention of placing my order directly as I was pressed for time. However, to my dismay, the cashier rudely instructed me to go sit first in a very discourteous manner. Furthermore, when I inquired about any vegetarian options, he displayed impatience in both his facial expression and tone, stating, "all our menu items are vegetarian; you tell me which one you want, then I will inform you if I can accommodate your request." Based on the reviews I certainly expected better. I had the Bibimbap which was good but with very few sides (3). The menu card were not appealing and I believe they should be urgently replaced. The choice of items is quite limited. I found the restaurant to be very "cold" in term of atmosphere. Just functional. The service was good but I found it annoying that the employees were listening resp. sharing some video (rather loud) stuff at the counter ... even if there was just 2 customers (incl. myself) eating at that time in...
