Edo Ichi is by far one of the best Japanese Restaurants we've tried so far! From service to speed to taste, everything here is top notch
Service: Our waitress attended to our table fairly quickly. Also served us and recommended us some of the best dishes we've ever tasted. A crucial part of out experience truly.
Speed: Our food came out approx 9 mins after we ordered and it didn't even felt like 9 minutes because the drinks came out right after we ordered which is super fast despite the restaurant being crowded!
Food: We ordered stir fried beef rice garlic fried rice Cheese baked octopus balls (takoyaki) *must try!!! pretty sure it's called saba fish (if you're not a fan of bones then it might not be for you) Half a Blackfish Sashimi (i dont know the name of the fish) *One of the best sashimis I've ever tasted Sushi Bento (pretty much a bento with fried prawns/eggplant, sushis and Sashimi.
If you are not into sashimi then dont try the blackfish one but if you are you MUST!!! The cheese baked takoyaki however is a must try!! Even my mom that doesn't like cheese said its really good!!! The sashimis are quite thick and definitely better than your common japanese food etc; Sushi King 🥲🥲 Lastly, surrounding of the restaurant is comfortable but a bit dim which is okay for me. Do be mind there are hotpot options there if you're not a fan of sashimi!! 9/10 would come again!!!

Read moreWe came here for lunch and I have to say the food could be better at the end of the day.
We went for set meals and bare in mind most of the choices are RM40 or above which isn’t cheap to say the least. The beef is tough and the overall set meal look ordinary for what we are paying. Not only that, there were several fish bones in my salmon teriyaki meal which isn’t welcoming as you end up focusing on the fish bone while chewing more than the conversation you are having with someone.
I was also slightly irked during payment time because you have to present your member card (10% discount) in physical form and the staff would not accept a photo of the card on my phone which is the only thing I had with me. I fully understand the reason behind this as you could simply send a photo of the member card to every single person you know and rob the restaurant of some profits. Still, I was unhappy upon hearing this because my family do not misuse the card in this manner.
Moving on to the positives. The service is great, the staff was friendly in taking our orders and the food arrived at a short time. Also, there are plenty of parking space near the restaurant for the customer’s convenience but I certainly would not come here on a...
