This place has so much potential and yet seems to be in a struggle with itself to not live up to it. Loved the old school charm but many of the dishes and drinks are unavailable throughout the day including the ubiquitous Chicken Katsu Curry (and seemingly most chicken and rice items). There seems to be a lack of effort to resolve this and just a lazy sticker saying sold out doesn't cut it. Now for the good. The ramens are tasty. Reminded us of the time we were visiting Japan. We tried the Miyabi Shoyu Ramen and the Kara Miso Tantan. The broths for both were exquisite and the noodles cooked just right. The pork portions were a bit stingy, though. We also ordered the fried rice which only had egg in it. Tasted good, but where was the seafood? The gyozas were superb. All in all, I'm going with a high, not perfect score. Always a bit uneasy when I get the feeling that an establishment has stopped trying. But why, when you can serve such...

Ramen broth was overly salty, generally the worse ramen I've had so far. Cha Shyu that came with the ramen also tasted rubbery. Presentation of the food was simply not appetizing. Ramen was overcook, soggy and lack texture.
Had a taste of my friend's tonkatsu curry rice. Curry tasted like instant curry. Tonkatsu was dry and I could erase my nephew's homework with the pork, tastes like rubber.
Service was good but I'm not willing to give it more than 3 stars for simply terrible and overpriced food.
Not coming...
Read moreI've been seeing the review section and everyone saying lots of nasty stuff bout this place. I can see that most of them is true. Service is by no means good or bad, they just robots. I don't mind a robot waiter. Yes they replaced the shrimp and chicken to pork in our fried rice without telling us, but damn I was quite pleasantly surprised. They got suaces and stuff on the side to spice your meal up for yourself. The ramen was abit Salty but I like me a Salty ramen. Yum. The asthetic of this place is chill, and Japanesey. Air-conditioned places get a point from me automatically. Don't expect great food or service, it's...
