Okay wow 😮 Absolutely THE BEST Vegetarian Buffet in Georgetown. This is an absolute gem in Penang! Tucked away behind the Temple of Fine Arts, this restaurant serves the most incredible authentic Indian vegetarian food.
The price for Lunch buffet was 14 RM, I enjoyed a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet with a fantastic variety of flavorful dishes. Absolutely outstanding value for what feels like home‑cooked South Indian comfort food.
Everything tasted so fresh and home-cooked, and you can tell it's made with love. The setting is beautiful and serene, with a lovely garden that creates a peaceful and compassionate atmosphere. Also birds chirping while you eat. ☺️ Bliss.
The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, adding to the wonderful experience. Especially the owner/manager of the place, he was welcoming right from the start! Telling me, don’t be shy to take multiple rounds. I did 😌
Everything is vegetarian (with many vegan options), and the friendly volunteer staff are happy to point out what’s dairy‑free, gluten-free. The food buffet changes daily, so there’s always something new to try (and come back).
I can't recommend this place enough – a must-visit for anyone in Penang looking for amazing food and a truly heartwarming dining experience. An...
Read moreWe ordered soup, appetizer, main course, and dessert. None of them were disappointing. My boyfriend and i asked for recommendation and the owner happily explained everything to us— we even trusted him to ‘arrange’ our meal from soup to dessert. My favorite were the yellow thing (i’m sorry i didn’t remember the name) that came with roti and palak paneer, the dessert; it’s based on carrot topped with ice cream (it’s actually so freaking good. We couldn’t stop saying ‘omg’ everytime we ate it), and the coffee— please order the coffee, it tasted so amazing even without sugar (i asked to separate the sugar). Oh! Also the roti, it wasn’t thick, just perfect. My boyfriend and i are Indian food lovers and this place was amazing. The taste of the food was perfect, it wasn’t strong so you won’t be sick eating it. It’s not oily which was nice and it’s healthy since it’s a vegetarian restaurant. The people were so lovely, all of them. The owner was so friendly, nice, and helpful. He always smiles! I really recommend this place, it’s a Northern Indian food restaurant that you cannot miss when you happen to be in Penang! Ps; we went here for dinner (2 days...
Read moreFirst time here. Got to know this place through social media. They have another one in Kuala Lumpur. It’s just behind the dance class. Good to see the new gens still performing Indian cultural dance and music. People there were very friendly and let us know in details about the menu, price and the place.
Really like the ambiance. Calm, clean and simple decor. It will be RM17(weekends)per person for the unlimited meals. Everything they serve was delicious. I tried everything they served. The dishes mostly a classic Indian vegetarian type. Staffs were helpful. Surrounded with greens. We can add other snacks and drinks which we need to pay extra later. One lady offered us to try their best seller snack called ‘Boli’. Tastes good, rich in ghee and need to eat it hot. Need to highlight this, toilet was clean and dry. They give importance to old and sick who have disabilities to walk. Thank you.
Would definitely recommend to others if they have plans to Penang island. I’m sure locals know...
