金輝海鮮大排擋 — Restaurant in George Town

Local style kopitiam seafood chu char visited by local. Reasonably priced and quite generous portions. During meal times expect waiting time about 15mins to serve. The place is not hot with lots of fans around. Here’s what we tried so far :

Signature Nyonya Steamed Pomfret Fish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfectly timed steam fish. The meat is soft, sweet and most importantly, fresh. The sauce although bit spicy but it’s delicious and tolerable. Highly recommend this dish! ✨

Stir Fried Sweet Potato Leaves with Sambal ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big portion, not overly cooked and well seasoned. Sambal lack of sambal taste, they also put in dried shrimp.

Fried Lala with Yellow Bean Sauce ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big juicy lala that just perfectly cooked didn’t make the lala meat shrink at all. The portion given also generous.

Braised Tofu with Crab Meats ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big portion, nice gravy however lack of crab meats and the crab meats taste.
