Came here for the first time. I have to say this is indeed one of the good ones in Penang. Broth is thick and flavourful. A small bowl comes with the usual meat slices, generous amount of small prawns (like very small) and some bean sprouts. There are other ingredients for add on at extra charges. Parking is limited during the morning, most of the cars are going for the hokkien Mee as it is the only shop that is opened early in the morning. Despite being so busy, the stall staffs are very polite and patiently explain to me the ordering process. I gave the extra star for the good service. Waiting time is fast. It was full house, and many tables are yet to receive their food. I waited for only 15 minutes in total before my food arrived. Turnover rate is fast. So don't mind a little queue. Payment is by cash only. There is no e wallet payment system available. Overall it is a good experience dining here. I...

We reached this non-airconditional coffee shop on weekdays at about 9:30am. 90% of the tables were occupied. Ordering at the stall and serving within 10 minutes upon ordering. There were a lot of smokers within the premises.

Very delicious prawn mee. Very generous portion of prawn and slices of pork. Added with roast pork bring the taste to perfection. One tips, don't add fishball to avoid disappointment of the finest prawn mee. Taste wise, prawn mee in this stall is on the same standard with my favourite, the famous prawn mee at one corner kopitiam. But waiting time here (10 mins) is much better compare to one corner...
Read moreAug 2021. For a coffee shop hawker stall the price of ‘Big Bowl’ (note no small bowl now) @RM7 is too expensive. You could get a bowl for RM4.00-4.50 elsewhere. Due pandemic only tapau available here.
There are a few slices of sliced SMALL prawns and a couple of THINLY sliced pork. If you want an egg or more small sliced prawns or pork ADD more money.
The only credit is the soup taste nice. This stall is able to increase its price as it has its die-hard fan base.
I would recommend for this price range better go to One Corner Super Hokkien Mee where the ingredients are equivalent to the price paid (no thinly sliced small prawns but the whole prawns and plenty of them in your bowl). Piping hot Soup taste better too. Plenty of...
