I recently dined at this restaurant, which boasts a fully air-conditioned environment, offering a refreshing contrast to the sweltering heat outside. The Bak Kut Teh served here presents a distinct departure from the traditional roadside version. The soup is notably rich and infused with a robust pork flavour, creating a hearty and satisfying dish. If you appreciate a deep, meaty taste in your soup, this version is definitely worth trying. However, the dining experience wasn't without its drawbacks. The service left much to be desired; I had to request a refill of the soup on three separate occasions before I finally finished it. This recurring issue somewhat detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite these service shortcomings, the quality of the food was commendable. The rice was well-prepared, and the vegetables were fresh and flavourful, complementing the main dish effectively. In summary, while the restaurant’s service could use improvement, the quality of the Bak Kut Teh and the other offerings make it worth a visit. If you’re looking for a different take on this classic dish, along with a comfortable dining atmosphere, it’s worth stopping by to try it...

Lets discuss about the food first: We order 4 main dish ( Bak Kut Te Soup, Pork Belly Salted Fish Sauce, Mala Trotter, and Sautee Cabbage) and 1 drink (Wu Long Tea). My fav. Are 1. Bak Kut Te Soup, 2. Pork Belly Salted Fish Sauce, 3. Sautee Cabbage. Btw the Mala Trotter also good but i cant eat chicken leg so i put the leg on the side hehehe but overall its amazing! All the pork are tender and for the taste its right in my tongue. Not forget really like the wulong tea

Second, lets discuss about the service and atmosphere: Their service are top 1! The owner super friendly as described in other review not just talking to us but also explaining and recommend the food that we should try. The staff also kind and friendly hahaha so happy for their service. The place are simple but tidy and clean its so comfortable to bring your family to eat here!

Third, lets discuss about the price: For 4 main dish, 1 tea, and mineral water for 3 person 50 MYR /each its so cheap, btw this portion should be for 4 person ( if you eat with 4 people with this portion it should cost you around 37 MYR yeah its...

The shop is now in perak Road facing padang brown. . Bakuteh soup was still good as last time. Meat was tender, and they served exactly as our request of half soft bone and half pitk rib. The service level was improved. Attentive service and even proactively asked us wanted to refill soup or not. 4 stars

We ordered pineapple side dishes and vegetable side dishes, but all below my expectation. 2 stars

Pu er tea was good in quality. 3 stars

Bakuteh was delicious. The soup was outstanding. Similar to klang Valley style. Meat was tender and soft. 4 stars

The vege just so so. But it is great to eat along the bakuteh. 2 stars

Unfortunately, the service was way below par. (1) I asked for refill soup but ended up never refill for us, although I reminded few times. (2) send me my order with some ingredients missing. If I was not alert, I may be paying same amount for 50% of lesser...

Came here for the first time. Tried both the dry version and the soup bak kut teh. The soup version is nice, but if the taste is slightly more bitter with more herbal smell, I would love it more. The dry version on the other hand is not very similar with most of the dry version out there. The taste is some what garlicky. I kinda like the dry version here. The portion is small but reasonable for the price. Decent amount of meat inside. Extra soup is provided ONCE for free. The restaurant has limited seatings on the ground floor. And with all tables quite close with each other and an enclosed environment, the space can get very noisy at times. A lot of sound and echoes just surrounded the small space. The restaurant has air conditioning. Parking is limited at around 6-7pm but ease up at around 8pm.
