Chosen this shop as our first breakfast stop when we arrived Penang. The total bill is having a one cents behind, RM0. 01. When i pay the cashier, i missed out the one cents behind. After paying, i would like to proceed for my seat. Surprisingly the cashier there insisted on asking me to pay for the RM0. 01, and i asked him can i have discount for that, he insisted say no. As i know, most of the shops or restaurants in Malaysia will automatically round up if it is less than RM0. 05. This is the first time i experienced this kind of situation throughout my dining experience in Malaysia. But, at last i also paid him the one cents which he insisted on.
And the funny thing is after that i went to the nearby kopitiam to dabao some paos. The total bill is RM5. 10. The auntie discount me ten cents, without me asking. The auntie so steady saying "All RM5. 10, you pay me RM5 can already". But i still pay her the exact amount as i know it is not easy for her to take care of the small stall.
Thinking back on the big restaurant SBK strongly insisted to request on one cents from customers, and the amount we ate is hundreds plus, comparing with the small stall auntie, which we just spent RM5 and able to discount ten cents. So......... Self reflect SBK,
Besides, the crews there is not alert enough, i need to wave and call them many times only they able to see me. They accumulate together at one side and have their time chit chatting without giving an eye to the...

Summary: -Food is delicious, and I went there eat with my muslim friend. I was amazed how it still tasted almost same as the original. (7.5/10) -Price is abit expensive but I can understand it. Ranging around RM18-25 for each main food, RM10 for each snack. (6.5/10) -Atmosphere is chilly and clean, the toilet smells fresh and looks clean too. (8/10) -staff is friendly and polite. -A decent place for eating maybe once a time.
Detail for main food (fgt whats the food's name so I created it from my memory): Noodle Chicken Chop. The noodle cooked fairly well and well seasoned, the chicken chop tastes great and it is above average. (6/10) Nasi Lemak Chicken Chop. idk but my friend rate it (7/10) Nasi Lemak Recommendation. I used to order it twice and the chicken tastes really good, especially with the tomyam rice, its a prefection for me. (9/10) Soya drinks. Its just a normal drinks. (5/10)
Detail for Snacks: Curry fishball. It taste great but I expect it to be spicy, quite disappointing me. (4.5/10) Fried Wantan. Read morevery nice cold coffee , surprisingly no ice added, excellent!! Food wise not bad, i expect the kaya butter toast comes with piece of cold butter but no, still taste good though especially the kaya. croissant with sambal chicken chop is good but sambal a bit too spicy for my liking, croissant alone doesn’t have butter aroma though. Chiken chop is great
16 Sept 2024 Came here again after 1year, food still excellent. I was hoping to see their kaya butter toast to have REAL cold butter as shown in their menu but i was disappointed again after asking the staff but she told me they’ll soon revamp their menu and it’s going to have real cold butter sandwiched between the toasts, hopefully it’s real😂 the tumeric rice with fried chicken thigh is something to die for seriously delicious. Nitro cold brew is something new with the mixture of traditional coffee taste and cold brew coffee taste, not bad
Jul 2025 Since they revamped their menu, especially the kaya butter toast, i became their regular customer when i was craving for kaya butter toast. I’d say their kaya butter toast is the best and unbeatable! Look at the super thick butter, perfectly paired with their Kaya and coffee! I’d be even better if they can include more...
